Wau’s dishes slapped especially their appetizer the Singapore Black Pepper Prawns. I can eat that as an entree, no joke! ... Their Ice Teh Tarik was very different compared to a Thai Iced Tea. The Tagu Goreng and the Noodle Lobster Tail was such a vibefor the gram and tok. Their Thai Tiramisu was the perfect amount of sweetness and a delicious way to end the meal. Read more

We had a great experience for our first time here. We’d been wanting to try it out for a while and hadn’t made it over yet.... Finally got to it and it was really great. I appreciated that they had two non-alcoholic “mocktails” on the cocktail menu, one of which I ordered. I’m no teetotaler but I am sober curious so I’m watching the booze. I ordered the Api-Api. This wasone of the best mocktails I’ve ever had, and it’s what put my rating from 4 stars to 5. The black lava salt rim was amazing. The mango is fresh (YUM) and yet not overpowering. Chili spice is lovely. Totally sippable and a delight. Appetizer was thespring rolls. Nothing to write home about but all around solid dish and a nice flaky crispy shell. Husband ordered Nasi Lemakwhich he really enjoyed. It was served about 5-7mins before my dish so he went ahead and started without me as he was veryhungry. This was fine because when my dish came out, it truly took the cake. I ordered the Pineapple Flower Fish. And wow. Thetamarind coconut broth was outstanding. The sea bass poached perfectly. The flavors were fantastic. And it was a ton of food - Itook leftovers home. We will go back. Read more

We have been craving for salted egg yolk pasta with lobster from WAU for a while and finally got a chance to try it when we... visited our friends in the neighborhood. The decor is adorable with cozy and relaxing ambiance. Their service was prettyfriendly and the staff served everything quickly. We got their Black Pepper Prawns, Murtabak, Charred Lobster Tail and Surf &Turf Malaysian Style to share with a group of four and the portion was more than enough. We even had leftover for next day. Thefood was overall decent and our favorite was the prawns which was fried perfectly, juicy inside with crispy layer. We also lovethe pasta and the salted egg yolk sauce was extremely appetizing and flavorful. Their desserts looked so great so we got ThaiTiramisu and Lychee Creme Brûlée to conclude our dinner. Both were okay but not impressive. Read more

Food, service and ambience - all of it is excellent. The steak appetizer is the bomb. It’s also a full meal by itself.... Quantity is pretty wholesome. Definitely going back! Read more

I can tell the chef put a lot of effects on the menu, but the execution’s just not there. Charred lobster with salty egg sauce... noodle - noodles are great, but that lobster look better than it taste, it’s way overcooked, and part of it is translucentand mushy, something is wrong with that lobster. Steamed Thai sea bass taste good, seasoning and temperature on point Lycheecrème brulee- don’t not order, it is watery on the bottom and saggy on top, missing that crispy caramel. That ice tea- tastedlike powder mix Read more

This new restaurant is quite charming. I loved their outdoor seating area and their indoor dining area is cute too. We started... off with the Bubble Trouble and Api-Api cocktails. Both very good. I loved the mango pearls in the sake cocktail (reminds me ofbubble tea) but better with a sake base if you know what I mean! The salt and pepper calamari was too salty for my taste (and Ilove salt) but the beef nam tok definitely made up for it! The drunken noodles were on point - I would so get that again aswell. As far as the char broiled lobster tail, the portion is great, but the noodles were a bit tasteless. We should havelistened to the server when we asked for his recommendations but you know me, I couldn’t say no to lobster haha. Last but notleast, I never had a Thai tiramisu so it was def different. Overall, I would come back and try other stuff on the menu andlisted to the waiters recommendations next time! Read more
