Wow what a hidden gem I would like to say I ordered the roti canai and hainanese chicken and I've seen the complaints people had... with the roti canai honestly it is a bit rougher in the texture compared to my likings at other spots I wish it was softer andcrisper but either way it was still fantastic the curry chicken they gave a big piece of chicken in the curry that comes withthe roti canai honestly not the best roti canai and therefor 1 star off it could've been done better but the hainanese chickennow was a blast the rice was nice and fluffy texture was just right a good flavor but not salty which is good it can complimentwell with the sauce or else it it's too salty a lot of places has it a bit more salty if that your preference cool but for me Ilike the flavors more that compliments each other better without all the salt it's a bit overwhelming honestly the chicken nowis nice and soft great texture really cheap price only 11 dollars u get all that could you believe it? Even thought they prefercash which is good because it pasts down the savings to us customers the chicken has a very nice all around taste now anotherreason why there's a star off is because the consistency in the pieces some of them the textures were better than the other?Maybe it's because the parts? I'm not sure I really like how it isn't as salty as other places that way you can let the saucecompliment everything and let me tell you this sauce is really good honestly much better than most of the other spots I've triedand been to!!! It is truly something very special not too salty again but the flavors and aroma would put you on blastdefinitely will feel so much better after eating this so far everything is good and staff actually handed me napkins while I waslow wow that some pretty good service right there because most places never do that for you overall a hidden small spot thateasy to miss but if you do happen to discover it you should definitely come in and try some I recomme Read more

i give this relocated malaysian restaurant a try, because it used to be good at prior location. Ordered hainanese chicken leg... rice. I like the chicken texture, thin chicken skin. The dipping sauce on the side was tasty too - green onion and ginger , andthe sour and garlic. There was three things was done wrong in the dish. First, uncooked rice, not just a few piece, almost inevery spoonful of rice. Second, the bottom layer of soy sauce, that is unnecessary. Third, a piece of chicken has blood. Ididnt like the whole experience at the restaurant while the waiters talking out loud as if there is no customer. The onestanding near the kitchen talk to the front desk. If the food was good, I will order to-go. However, there are more options inthe area. Read more

Small but busy Malaysian restaurant with tons of Malaysian dishes. Curry combo with rice was great but not a lot of chicken/... beef in it. Only assam laksa was available so we couldn’t get the original version. Had to rush out but would visit again! Read more

We were hoping for a very authentic Malaysian meal and only got an average Malaysian meal. The Nasi Lemak had the hard boiled... egg, peanuts and cucumbers, the rice wasn't flavored, the ikan bilis was a homemade sambal with mostly onions but the curry wasa decent Chinese chicken curry. The Char Kway Teow was pretty good with a nice char taste and they didn't skimp on the shrimp.Because of that they got a 4 and not a 3. Read more

1/15/22 delivery: Had the roti canai and the curry beef brisket noodle soup with broad noodle (both excellent, 5* dishes), and... the coconut seafood fried rice (decent, 3.75*, wouldn't order again as not much flavor or even coconut taste). Read more

Kind of a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious food in a non pretentious setting, low key interior, attentive and fast service. The... menu selection could be overwhelming but I enjoyed everything we’ve tried so far. Will be coming back to try more. Read more

Recently, I stopped by the area and was pleasantly surprised that the underpass alleyway was renovated. There are just a few... other spots tucked in the same alley, which makes me wonder if these restaurants are losing money because of the inconspicuouslocation. No matter because.. I've been to this restaurant numerous times and each and every time their dishes surprise me withhow fresh and flavorful they are! My sister and I order a casserole (soup) and an entree to share knowing that the portions werebig enough for two. Originally we wanted the fried snapper dish, but sadly they did not have the fish that day except for carpand stingray. It seems that many of the items on the menu were unavailable at the time- my sister was craving shaved iced creambut they were out of it. Nonetheless, the waitress was patient and gracious to suggest alternatives. We forgot all about thesnapper and dessert in the end, and were fully satisfied with our meal! Read more
