Good portions and pricing. Had the beef and noodles dish. Noodles are made fresh, love the chewy texture of the noodles. The... dumpling are quite filling. Good flavours in the sauce. The chrysanthemum tea and jasmine tea were refreshing. Thechrysanthemum was lightly sweetened, great with the spicy food. Read more

Xi'an is Chinese restaurant known for the spicy knife cut noodles. I really like the dry cumin lamb flavor as it is the most... traditional for this regional cuisine in my opinion. Even though they warned you of the "spiciness", I have to say it's notspicy at all. I even got the extra spicy level. They only have a ordering kiosk and you pick up at the window, so there's 0customer service. Relatively affordable for a quick casual bite. Can get crowded at times to be able to find a seat. Expect topay around $15 per person. Read more

Delicious chewy thick hand pulled noodles! Got the spicy cumin lamb and that did not disappoint. They keep their AC blasting in... the restaurant and makes it a perfect spot to eat these spicy noodles (and a break from the summer heat too). You can choose thelevel of spice and I find the regular is a great if you can handle spice regularly. The space is also kept clean and there is nowaitstaff so clean as you go. Read more

I?ve been to two other Manhattan locations for consistently delicious spicy lamb cumin hand-pulled noodles and dumplings. This... Chinatown location is no different - also, good ac, choice of cash, credit card or debit, lots of seating and good value for themoney. People kept coming in right up to 8:30 closing. Read more

My daughter was craving for food from Xian after hearing about hand ripped noodles. We ordered the spicy lamb noodles and spicy... and sour pork noodles. She loved the flavor of lamb and spiced noodles but the thickness of noodles was not what she expected. It was cooked and well soaked in the lamb sauce. Dumplings was great. Read more

I?m on a mission to find the best dumplings in NYC. This place came at a recommendation. I ordered the pork dumplings and the... stewed pork burger (F8, B1). The dumplings themselves were delicious, but what made them excellent was the sauce! I got thestandard spice level and it was not that spicy (and I?m pretty sensitive to spice levels). The ?burger? of you can calls it thathaha, lost a lot of the flavor in the juices because the bun soaked up most of the flavor leaving the pork a little dull. Ifound dipping it in the my dumpling sauce to be much better. Overall: 4/5 for the dumplings. Read more

Nice and simple place. Spacious and welcoming. You can dine it, there is plenty of seats. I've ordered the spicy and sour lamb... dumplings soup. Easy to order, average waiting time. The food was ok, nothing special, a bit too sour in my opinion but the lambwas good. The soup wasn't like a soup but more like a thick sauce so I couldn't really enjoy it too much and unfortunately hadto throw the rest of the soup away. I should probably get their hand pulled noodles on my next visit! Will keep you posted ofcourse, like always. Read more
