The Malatang and Malaban was so fresh and delicious, love all the items we picked. We arrived about 10 mins before close, two... servers who greeted us were super friendly. They were patient, make us feel no pressure while dine-in. Highly recommended , anddefinitely will come back to try more items on their menu. Read more
I absolutely love this place. It’s a gem in Fremont area. We tried their customized malatang - good broth and ingredients are... really fresh; eggplant- flavorful; and pork chop- crispy, well-marinated, and tender. Malaban is really authentic. Guobaotou needs long waiting, and it is customized to a more sweet taste, but it’s very... crispy???????? Overall like this restaurant as it’s somewhat authentic to my hometown flavor. Read more
Fancy presentation, dishes are tasty. However, don't try their MaLaTang bar. We ordered rice cake and was undercooked. (They... were still dry and couldn't bite into it at all. ) Also, the taste was below average. Lastly, food here is priced higher thanusual, partly because of the presentation? Very nice and hip interior design and decorations. The seatings look great although at the curved booths, our party of 4 found... it uncomfortable to sit, being squeezed in and awkward feeling. The food selection is good although pricy. That being said,they have very creative presentations of dishes, using ceramic figures that blow steam. Great for IG pics. And the service for90% of the staff is very attentive and kind. I only docked 1 star because one of the staff got my order wrong and indignantlyinsisted it wasn't. Good food for a decent price. Reminds me of the braised food in Taiwan. Plus they’re all hella nice too
