I have lived in Fremont area for a long time and somehow missed this sandwich place. It's a small place with some seating... inside but scrupulously clean. Staff was very efficient and nice. If you want a good hearty sandwich, Mr. Pickles is the place to go. Great customer service at this location every time. Their... quick, and make some delicious sammy's. The Hero with the works on Dutch Crunch is the thickest and well worth it sandwich 5stars for the whole sandwich. The Fast Eddy is a warm Roast beef n cheddar with a taste of bbq sauce the works on Dutch Crunch, WOW 5 stars! The Dellas Deli also the works on Dutch Crunch, also a very hearty thick sandwich, 5 stars on that one too. Theyadd that freshly baked chocolate chip cookie too, yummy! Definitely will come back! I've visited this location a handful of times. [I was used to the location in San Mateo (unaffiliated) which has very friendly... staff and their sandwiches are amazing and generous.] This Newark location is pretty lackluster. Of the 5 times I've been here,I was only greeted upon entry once, and I'm pretty sure it was the owner/manager who did so. They have teenagers working therewho don't quite know what work ethic is yet. The same young girl every time I've been there will be working on the online orderswithout ever looking up or offering a simple "Hello, we'll be right with you". Other employees will be in the back and maybe onemore will be working the cash register. They are also pretty skimpy on the ingredients, and I'm not a gluttonous person,honestly! I guess I've only continued to go there because it's close to home and I'm hoping it'll be better every time."Insanity", I know. Probably won't be returning. Read more
I ordered the tri tip sandwich on the Dutch crunch bread and also the club sandwich. This was my first time at this sandwich... place and I really enjoyed it. I was expecting a similar experience as Subway, but it was completely different. A bit moreexpensive than I expected, but I would definitely return to try other sandwiches as well.
