It is great to have access to Mediterranean food and another place to get gyros. There are not a lot of places in Delaware to... get them. Absolutely delicious gyros. I have had the chicken and lamb gyros which are quite tasty. The price of the combo isreasonable. I have not eaten inside the restaurant but from what I can tell it looks clean. Delicious food. The staff is friendly & courteous. I asked how you pronounce some of the items on menu & he was able to help me... pronounce it better. Everyone in my family was commenting on what a good choice of food to enjoy for that night. Co-workers havealso commented about going back. You get the right quality of food for the price you pay. I would recommend going here if youwould like to spice up the normal lunch/dinner options... We had the lamb, beef, & chicken gyros, garden salad, & Greek salad.Some of the options were not available because of popularity. But I do recommend ordering ahead for lunch rush. As it ispopular. This was my second time visiting Gyro King restaurant. The first time I had lamb Gyros which were delicious. My last visit there... I had a salad top with lamb meat. The salad was pretty good. I do prefer the Gyros sandwich over the salad, but the salad wasfilling. I would visit again to try one of their Greek platters. Read more
Taking a spin to the other side of things. This was a ride on the wild side. Very flavorful full of flavor. Meat seasoned and... cooked perfectly. Rice cooked to correct temperature. Salad had some interesting toppings but was not surprised. Will return.Thank you for a humble experience. Read more
Good place , good food. The food is always made well done, crispy and very flavorful . Very good. I frequent here time to time ,... sometimes you just crave a chicken Gyro! Also I?ve tried another gyro place along harmony road across the gas station andskating rink Christiana- to compare the 2 - this place Gyro King is really KING. I always get praised and adored by my coworkers when I let Gyro King handle our catering orders. People at work loves it and it... makes it easier when we have vegetarian or vegans attendees. The presentation is usually beautiful, the price is unbeatable andthe food is outstanding! I can't stop praising Mr. Ghani and his staff for all the good work. Prices have gone up by $2-3 per menu item. It's now $9 for a single gyro with no sides and $15 for a gyro with rice and "salad".... The food is okay, but that's it. I wouldn't say the staff was rude per se, but definitely not friendly at all. Overall, I wasvery disappointed. Read more
