Of course we all love the girls... But the view isn't everything. This past Sunday was the first time there. Sat at the bar and... a decent bartender for service. The second afternoon. I stopped in for the first time to watch an out of market NFL game from 1pm-4pm. I sat on the bar side and Meredith was my... bartender. Meredith did an amazing job providing service and was always one step ahead. Just when I thought to myself that Iwould soon need another beer, she was already asking me. Walked in on a Sunday at 4:00 p.m. to get seated for a football game. Just me, by myself, wanted to be seated at the bar. Out of... the 25 seats at the bar maybe 11 were occupied. The hostess/ waitress asked me what I needed, and I told her I needed one seatin front of a specific game at the bar. She didn't even bother to turn around and told me they were way too busy to help me, andsent me to the dump next door. I'll probably give this place another try just because my team is not local, but if they do thisto me again, I won't come back and I will flame the place on the internet. Read more
This location really restored my faith in this company. The server was pleasent. The food was hot! The environment was... welcoming. Overall, and compared to my last visit at the new castle location this visit was awesome! And the snow legs wereactually half price as advertised! The New Castle location charged us 20. Atmosphere: good, lots of tvs and booths separated by plastics barriers…it was dinner and no one was there…maybe 20 people?... Our table was a little sticky so they def lose points for not having a clean table. 5/10 Server: She was nice came over andtook our drink order and came back in a reasonable time and we ordered…when I was deciding on sauces she could have told mesome of them were extra charge (I didn’t see it on the menu but it would have been nice to have been told as well if it was)she brought out the food when it was ready checked on us once but could have maybe checked in a little earlier with a drinkrefill as she asked us if we needed drinks nearly when we were finished. She did minimal flirting except to call me sweetiewhich is annoying cause I’m double her age and don’t need pandered to especially in front of my daughter…what if I wasmarried or had a gf and she’s like daddy why is she calling you that and then went home and told my other and it was anissue…shouldn’t do that…I still give her a solid 7.5 of 10 Food: I ordered 16 wings and 12 shrimp I got sauces on theside- honey Thai, spicy garlic(supposedly their hottest), hot and 3 mile island(next hottest) My daughter just got a burger andfries which was average 5/10. So the shrimp was 100% overcooked and the breading was ehhh. Out of the sauces I liked the spicygarlic and the 3 mile island the best….not a fan of the honey Thai and the hot was just mid. Now the chicken wings….somewere HUGE almost drumstick size and some were not. What does that mean? They are all cooked in the same batch so you get someway overcooked and some slightly undercooked. I had one that was a little pinkish and suspect. Without sauce these are a 2/10zero flavor in the breading. Food was not like it used to be. Our waitress did absolutely nothing but take our order and bring us drinks. Other than that... others brought our food. She never checked on us and we had to ask for refills which took literally 10 minutes to get. Then shedisappeared multiple times when we were trying to get the bill. She had another table and she went in took their order beforegetting our drinks which took forever because apparently the bartender has to get all drinks. If I were you, go to a differentlocation! You can never go wrong with Hooters. Very welcoming atmosphere delicious food and beautiful waitresses! With the recent... increase in price of wings I feel like I am not getting my money's worth. This place is the exception! The wings I got were thebiggest best tasting wings I've had in years! When in the area this place should be on your to go list! Read more
