Unassuming front, but easily identifiable from the large parking lot. The customer service is lacking, but they are a fast,... matter of fact, American-Chinese food takeout, so I don’t expect much banter or pleasantries. Most of the menu is mediocre atbest, but…… GET THE DUMPLINGS. They are hand-made and absolutely fantastic. This is one of the few things I’ll head in toNewark for from Maryland. DUMPLINGS, folks. I very disappointed. I ordered food, the order was wrong instead of them apologizing and stating that I would get a discount the... next time I buy food they stated I can drive back if I don’t like the order. So basically they want me to inconveniencemyself! So it wasn’t a good experience. I will not order from here again because it’s just the principle. THE WORST PLACE EVER. I didn’t know Chinese food could be this bad. broke college kids save your money! They deliver an hour... or more late, food is dry, has no flavour, and is weirdly cooked. Anything fried is soggy and dripping. The staff is cold andunwelcoming and painfully unhelpful with anything. You have an issue and need to call? If they are on with someone else itforces you to hang up, no waiting line or anything, so you have to call and call and call until you get a person who soundslifeless and is so far from helpful it’s almost funny. I don’t typically write reviews. The map said they don’t deliver to my address but I went for it. Because I received the... message, we were outside their delivery area, we order from another restaurant. I wish I had taken pictures of the food that wereceived. No. 1 clearly listened to my request, “xtra spicy”. The food was fresh, tons of crisp veggies and lots ofprotein. No doubt this will be my go to spot! Read more
If I could give it zero stars, I would. Worst Chinese food I've ever had, and I eat Chinese about twice a week. Couldn't even... eat my meal, threw it away after a few bites. Their fried food all tastes like dirty oil and is extremely greasy. The sweet andsour "shrimp" were dime sized bits of dry shrimp wrapped with tons of overcooked, slimy breading. The "house special fried rice"was off the shelf yellow rice with precooked diced ham and frozen veggies mixed in. The spring roll tasted like rotten seafood.The restaurant also forgot three shrimp rolls and did not care that the order was wrong. If you want Chinese, any other placein Newark is better than this.
