So I heard playa was a thing and my family and I went to check it out. The prices were a bit high but these bowls are filling... and feel like a healthy alternative to a breakfast or lunch rather than a sweet treat. I visited the Newark site today and it's another group of wonderful individuals serving up great service and delicious playa... bowls. Today I tried the acai 8th ave and it was another bowl of yummy goodness especially cuz I went in to redeem my buy oneget one free offer and it saved us $10 bucks. It was a quick, fun outing even though it was raining but visiting playa bowls isnever a let down so. Win-Win! Read more

this place is probably my new go-to smoothie shop. it?s adorable, and the smoothie bowls are to die for. i got the ?stupid... cupid? (specialty bowl). the base is strawberry-banana-coconut milk, and the toppings are granola, strawberries, coconut, andchocolate flakes. definitely recommend!!! Read more
