Went on a Sunday night. Had a waiter who was only a week into the job. He was doing his best and had a waitress as backup . They... were a great team. Fried chicken did not have much meat. So the food was hot. Quality was way better then I expected. The prices are cheap in my opinion for the quality of the food and... the quantity. I felt like I was eating a cooked meal at my house. I'm a very particular and critical eater. I found no faultwith anything wThe restaurant including the bathroom If Smileys made there own if would make a huge difference in the amount oforders for the wings. Overall a great experience. What a smiley place ;) ! We stopped by for dinner on Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. I loved the... grape leaves app. The ?mini meal? portion sizes were huge and a great value coming with a salad/soup to start plus dessert.Staff was so friendly and the food came out very quickly. Smiley's Dinner was surprisingly nice. We stopped there for breakfast. The food was served hot and was delicious. I had the... short stack french toast which was just the right size. The scrambled eggs were fluffy. The crisp bacon was delicious. This wasmore like a family home cooked meal than a meal cooked at a franchise restaurant. I loved it. Did I mention the servers? Theywere great. If you were seated at your table and had not received your drinks from your server. No problem. Another server wouldcome by and ask if your drink order was place. If you answered no, they would bring your drinks for you. The servers reallyworked together as a team to serve you. The restaurant was well lit, cozy and clean. Read more
We were a party of 11 and our waiter was amazing. I forgot her name but she was really sweet. Highly recommend the French onion... soup! We were all pretty hungry but I managed to take a couple of pictures before people started to eat. From the appetizers tothe entrees we had no complaints. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had 3 eggs scrambled, ham, two bacon and one sausage link with rye toast and coffee. It was 10.99 for meal plus price of coffe... and tip. Waitress was friendly seated me quick. The service was attentive with refills. Food wait was 7 minutes. Meals was largewell prepared and hot. I had been fasting so this was a meal that I only eat once or twice a year. My husband and I, love this Diner. Their food is better than most restaurants. The service, is outstanding!! Barrack our... waiter, is always attentive, extremely courteous, and pleasant.
