I’ve been to this location a couple of times now and I’d have to say that the meals I have tried have been decent. I most... recently tried the Chicken Taverna and while the chicken was ok, the accompanying pasta was pretty bland. So far my favoritedish has been the Grilled Spicy Shrimp, I think it seasoned well and has just enough kick. Drinks have always been pretty good,and the ambience is nice. My husband and I went out with his family. There were 8 of us. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We both ordered the Beef... Brasato (see attached pic). The meat melted in your mouth and was on top of risotto. Of what I remember, also ordered at thetable was the Carbonara, Hand Cut Fettuccine and a pizza. Wonderful and very attentive staff. Read more
I was in town for the night during a road trip and this restaurant was a great find! Their cocktails were amazing and everything... we ordered was super tasty! Overall, the food was great! I ordered a braised pork shank. It was amazing! The pork is very tender and very easy to get off... from the bones. The pizza San Daniele was alright. Highly recommend 121 Cocktail, you can taste the real peach flavor. Read more
My boyfriend took me here for our 1 year anniversary dinner about a week or so ago and we had the BEST experience ever! All the... staff at Taverna are very friendly and welcoming. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu very well. She offered a sweetpotato soup special and instantly sold me with her descriptions. By the way, it was DELICIOUS! I ordered carbonara and friedmozzarella and it was perfect! My boyfriend ordered salmon and he said the sauce was one of the best sauces he has EVER had! Healso order fried calamari and it was my first time ever trying calamari and I am now a fan! At the end of our meal, our severbrought out a slice of cheesecake (my favorite!) with a sparkler on it and wished us a happy anniversary. That was verythoughtful and I appreciated it so much. Good food and service. Pretty basic options, but everyone in our large group was satisfied. Worth a repeat trip.
