I've tried this place on multiple occasions in hopes that they would improve. Today I got nigiri and 1 of the 6 pieces was... imitation crab. Never in my life have I had imitation crab served as a Nigiri. Their yellow tail has the bloodline vein in itwhich is supposed to be removed. The yellowtail is just old. Their tuna was decent, which was a surprise. This place, sinceits opening has been inconsistent and poor quality. If you're looking for a sushi spot in Newark, it's not here. Read more

Eel Cucumber roll was great. That?s it. The smoothie my friend ordered was an insulting size for $6.95. It came in a margarita... cup. She did not drink the smoothie or even touch it for that matter and asked to switch her drink to something else. Themanager actually argued with her in front of other customers (poor service) and tried to guilt her by saying ?it?s expensive?.Then I was charged nearly a dollar for spicy mayo that wasn?t even spicy. I worked with Chef/Owner years ago and know how clean he runs his kitchen and how fresh are the ingredients he uses. I order... very often and every time the food is insanely delicious, fresh and looks presentable. I hooked up my coworkers and now we allorder from here never a bad experience. Menu is BIG and everything is exciting to try. Chef has an extensive knowledge of Asiancuisine and we are just lucky to have him open this cute little spot in our neighborhood. Read more
The food was good, But the experience was unbelievable. When I placed the orderThey told me give them30 to 40 minutes to prepare... the food. After calling the restaurant an hour later and the food still not being ready. Long story short I waited an hour and ahalf to pick up my food. Then when I get my bill I see they've added 15% gratuity. Needless to say I will not be ordering fromthis restaurant again. Read more
