I rarely write reviews but thought others should be warned. My friend and I decided to come to this place for the first time and... was disappointed by the dishonesty of the workers. They charged us a higher price than the price that is listed on the menu. Iconfronted another worker who was someone different than the person who rung us up and she confirmed the price was actually lessthan what I was charged. Smh Read more

Let me start by saying this is a review as a first impression based opinion, I do not/have not eaten here beyond this event.... Upon arriving to the restaurant around 2-3 pm, I had to be buzzed in, which I thought was odd, but nevertheless it didnt determe as I was let in rather quickly. The restaurant seemed very dated, and not too appealing to the eyes, but acceptable for aquick pick up. I wanted to order some chicken and jollof rice, but was told that there was only fish left, to which Ireluctantly agree upon getting. The rice was a little bland, but I did enjoy the spiciness of it. The fish was not fresh at all, microwaved a bit too much, but it was the winning piece of the dish I received. My main issue, though, was the pricing of mymeal. Not only was it a microwaved small plate, but I was charged $16 for what i got... I find that to be robbery. Only onepiece of fish, and a bowl of rice costed me close to $20. This experience made me determine I won't be coming back again. Read more

Came here to taste jollof rice. Fantastic concept of their version of the dish. Peppers and spice everywhere!
