Stopped in yesterday for the first time and they did not disappoint! Ordered a beef kofta sandwich and it really hit the spot.... The beef tasted fresh, the hot sauce was on point, the avocado hummus was an awesome addition, and the service was great. Our to go weekly lunch, Pita Square has some quality shwarma chicken. The lunch combo combo in platter or pita, with one protein... and two sides, cost about $14. The shwarma chicken is my favorite, its moist, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The rice andsides are also made well, that enhances the overall taste of the platter. The store is little messy but in general service isfast. Big benched are available for group sittings. Park is very hard to find bear the store due to being on busy street ofHalsey in Newark.
