We waited 2 hours for our food and we traveled all the way from Albany ny. That's was totally unexceptable and some of the food... we ordered and paid for was not in our bag. The food was tasty. Read more

The Weekend spot catered my daughter?s Sweet 16 party and the food was wonderful. My guest enjoyed the food and wanted to take... some home with them. Been a ?weekender? for several years now and Chef Mo never disappoints. Look no further for classic soul dishes made from top... quality ingredients. My personal favorites are the crab cakes, ox tail, fried chicken/wings, and fried seafood. Corn breadsoufflé is amazing but not always available. They are on some of the food delivery apps but are not always active. Always bestto call in your order. Like the menu says, NOT a fast food restaurant, but that?s kinda the point. I was near the area and wanted to give this place a try. I ordered online the southern baked chicken, collard and cabbage mix... and yellow rice and it said about 30 to 40 minutes and it came to $14.66. I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes later andwalked in and a few people were waiting. The nice young man Jay said it wasn't ready. As I waiting the line got longer andlonger. I waited about 40 more minutes for my food. The wait was ridiculous and the communication was terrible. Yes the serverwas very nice but that wait will keep me from returning. When it was done I grabbed my food and uptown and left. As I drovehome I drank some of the uptown and it was ok. When I got home and ate the baked chicken was good and so was the yellow rice. The collard greens and cabbage was a bit salty. All in all I only had an ok experience. Read more
