We were on a short layover before our flight to Miami so we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and since the single giant slice... of pizza is considered to be a NYC staple and you cannot get this anywhere else in Europe where we live - of course this was ourway to go! The shop itself is pretty old and should definitely be renewed sometime soon? There is a seating area right next toit but the chairs were pretty worn out and it seemed like they forgot to clean the table for the last couple of weeks? Way to goNew York! Anyways. Now to the pizza itself. And be aware this is not going to be a neutral review because me being absolutelyhungry after my eight hour flight before with bland airplane meals definitely influenced my review of this pizza. I had a slicewith pepperoni and my other travel companion had a slice with a mysterious white sauce on it (insert dirty joke here) which hesaid tasted a bit like garlic and cheese. With our two slices we ordered a large cup of soda and all that for 25$. I don?t knowif this is reasonably priced but considering we were at an airport in New York I expected nothing else but that. Now finally tothe pizza: It honestly tasted great. Maybe a bit on the greasier side but still very enjoyable and delicious. The sauce and thePeperoni both had a great flavor and the crust was satisfyingly crunchy. All in all an eight out of ten. Again if I hadn?t beenon that flight before probably just a good six and a half out of ten? In conclusion you can definitely say that there?sdefinitely better pizza places in New York but still this was a very pleasant experience! Good quick pizza between flights. They have a nice selection of pizza and other Italian food too.

I recently ate breakfast at Villa, and considering it's airport food, was very impressed with the flavor, the quantity of food... and the service I was given. While I prefer just fried over-easy eggs (they only serve fried or scramble and it is all servedwarm out of a food pan), I was very satisfied with my order which consisted of two fried eggs, seasoned potatoes, turkey baconand toast. Difficult to understand employees. Also issue with bill as they charge me an item I didn?t order and then return ???? to me... which is suspicious. No supervisor to sign. No receipt of refund. Food is very salty but eatable. Avoid coffee. Read more
