We ordered a rib dinner and two pulled pork sandwich dinners and the sauce tasted like it should of been in a bowl chili because... it definitely did NOT taste like any BBQ Sauce that we've ever tasted and it was on both the ribs and pulled pork and the pulledpork was in a basket and no buns for our two pulled pork sandwich dinners. The potato salad that was pureed was just gross andthe baked beans was like someone dumped a pepper shaker into a can of Bush's baked beans and don't get me started on what theycalled corn bread that we thought was actually a sponge and now that I think about it a sponge would of tasted better. If Icould give this less of a mark then 1 star I would. It was just awful. We won't be back that's for sure!!! Read more
Hands down one of the best restaurants in central Ohio the food is simply phenomenal! the atmosphere inside was done so... beautifully by the artist who constructed it. The staff is very professional polite and positive. All the way around mostdeserves a 5 out of 5 they deserve a higher grade they need to put a sixth star up for Moe's great for the community all the wayaround thank you for all who contributes or works there. Some of the best smoked chicken I've ever had. The Alabama white sauce was so delicious. I had never had cornbread with... jalapeños inside. It will not be the last. The sides were just incredible. Drinks were really good and the staff was veryfriendly. If I could rate it 10 ???? I would. I will most definitely be back next time I'm in Newark. Read more
We were here for a quick bite and business meeting. Unfortunately, they were out of ribs but all the food we ordered were... delicious! We got pulled pork sandwich, wings, and fried catfish sandwich along with their mac and cheese, Cole slaw, andbeans. Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like! Price was decent and expected for a BBQ joint. Portions weregood. Customer service was superb! We were helped by Crissy and our table had a wonderful conversation with her about the areawhich we were very thankful for bc we are new here. She cleaned up after us and let us enjoy our time there. Bathrooms wereclean and to the side so no awkward walk throughs around the restaurant and around employees. The decor was absolutely amazingand gorgeous! The work that went into the tables and the ceiling is astounding. Respect to the people who did them! Thepictures simply do not do them justice. We were impressed, for sure. Moe's Original BBQ is the place to go for Alabama style bbq! The restaurant is casual; you order at the counter. They have a... classic menu of pulled pork, chicken, wings, and sides like vinegar slaw, fries, etc. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich withfries and slaw. The sandwich came with a sweet BBQ and a pickle. Everything was delicious! The restaurant also has some greatmetal art (trees and chandeliers). Read more
I got the Pulled Pork Platter and really enjoyed it! However, the Mac and Cheese, which if I understand correctly is a special... side that isn't always available, was on the bland side and a letdown - really the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. TheCollard Greens were very good, a little spicy but some good flavor - this is coming from someone that doesn't typically eatgreens so you definitely should try them. The barbecue sauce was little spicy too but on the mild side. The pulled pork wasgood, not too salty like many of the chain restaurants. The corn bread had good flavor as well. The owners and staff are amazing! Excellent service, delicious food, and a great selection of cocktails and beer. We had pulled... pork nachos that were served fresh and lightning fast. You can tell the people working there take pride in their work and treatguests and each other like family. Highly recommend! We had a great conversation with Kara (unsure if I spelled that correctly)and very much enjoyed our experience there. Read more
What can I say, Moe?s is a must if you are downtown Newark, their pulled pork or smoked chicken. . . (Insert drooling emoji) is... a show stopper!! I went with the wings this trip only because I?ve heard amazing things about them as well and I was veryhappy! The banana pudding. . . Lordy . . . it?s goooood! I got the side of chicken salad (top right) and it was enjoyable, ithad sliced grapes in it which was a surprise but good surprise. All I can say is try it, you?ll be back! Read more
