Such a perfect Newark Treasure of a restaurant! I really enjoy how these guys do burgers with a twist. I got the breakfast... burger which hit the spot when hanging out with the boys. This was my first time going and I loved it! Caleb was a great waiter! If you put dirty dishes on the end of the table they took... them right away! Made the table always look clean! Not too noisy and the food was amazing! I got a pub oak burger without cheeseand onion rings. The onion rings had a great taste and dipped in the sause that comes with the burger was a great duo! Theburger had a great charbroiled taste. The sweet tea was sweetened perfectly and the pork potstickers also great! My husband hada meatloaf sandwich and fries. A big sandwich for sure as he only ate half of. The fries were crisp and fresh! Overall 100%would go back! 100% would recommend! Read more
My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a couple of years. We never did because the parking lot was always... packed, so we knew the wait time would be long. Yesterday, as always, the parking lot was full but we decided to see how longthe wait list was. It was 5 minutes for outside, 15 minutes for inside. We chose inside, and we're glad we did! The staff wasextremely friendly, and the service was amazing! Our food came out in a very timely manner, and everything tasted great! Ifyou've never been there, I highly recommend you do! The Red Oak Pub is a local favorite in Newark,Oh. I've eaten there twice and will go back every time I'm in Newark. While they... have a full bar and about 20 beers on tap the food is the star! With a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches there's somethingdelicious for everyone. They have some of the best fries and onion rings that I've ever tasted. The servers are attentive,fast and friendly. The food is well prepared and quickly delivered. There is plenty of seating available for everyone and We'venever had to wait for a table. There is a kids menu as well. If you are in the Newark area ots a great option. It makes for anice Saturday or Sunday lunch or dinner drive from the Columbus area. Read more
It was our first time visiting Red Oak Pub. The wait was not as long as we were told, which was great. Our appetizer of spinach... artichoke dip came to the table very quickly, and was delicious. Our salads were excellent and the serving size was verygenerous. Our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely go there again. Read more

Food was excellent! Pork Potstickers, Cheesesticks and tha Buffalo Chicken Dip were all really good. Especially the dip. I had... the Meatloaf Panini and it was damn tasty and their battered fries are killer. My sister had the Cobb Salad and it was huge. TheMash with Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus looked phenomenal, and according to my mother, it was. Meal Portions aregenerous and our server Jaylee was on point!
