The ambience and interior are lovely. You can look at the stuff on the walls and all the little details of the decor for easily... 20 minutes. On top of that the food is top-notch. The tenkatsu ramen and the sushi rolls are all worth every penny. On top ofthat the staff there is lovely and they execute everything on a very high level from service to cutting fish to working in thekitchen. The reason why this place has lost two stars for me is because while everything is done properly and every I is dottedand every T is crossed, there is always a very long wait at this place. And I don't mean to get in, I mean once you sit down youare probably looking at a 40 minute wait before you get your first bit of food, tea aside. Especially if you're orderingmultiple things this can compound the problem. I wanted to give this place more stars and I will sing the praises of the staffand their flavorful food until the cows come home, but I can't in good conscience give them more than a standard rating just byvirtue of how many times I've had to sit there and apologize to family and friends and my kids about the wait. I'd like to try it again possibly and add a star. They were out of a few things and so I just got a roll and maguro nigiri. I... can tell their tempera is spot on. However, I did not like their setup on the Ramen so I did not order it. The reason given wastoo many customers complaining about the hardboiled egg. So they put a fried egg on top. Odd to me. The owner of therestaurant should set the rules. Not be swayed by customers who do not know proper Ramen setup. I know some Ramen places docompletely hard boiled eggs and some leave the yolk runny. It all depends on what the restaurant chef wants to do. The sushiwas good enough I would try it again. The server was nice. Read more
