Traveling in the area for work. Came in around 7 on a Saturday and got a spot at the bar top with no wait. Had a great... experience watching the chefs work and the food coming out of the kitchen. I had the soup of the day and fish special along witha glass of wine. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Will be back. Read more

Outstanding! 5 of us visited during a 2-day 60-th birthday girl celebration. The food was all outstanding - Coq Au Vin,... Cioppino, & Lamb Loin over Polenta were our choices. Very friendly staff, went out of their way to help us with a solution toget back to our rented house when Uber, Lyft & cabs suddenly unavailable, after being an easy option for the ride-to. I love this little boutique bistro. Named after the local residents, Newbergundian has a flavorful menu that never ceases to... delight my tastebuds!!! There are also some staple options that are persistently present like the Steak & Frites. Drinkselection is varied for any guilty pleasure you are looking for. Where to start? ok, let me begin by giving a major shoutout to our server, Eileen! She was attentive and made our dining... experience extra wonderful! The ambience at Newbergundian is so cozy and inviting! We sat in their warm tent surrounded by cutestring lights. Now, onto the main attraction - the food! From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious! We startedwith fresh oysters and their soup of the day which was a yummy seasonal squash. Their special of the day was a sole with lentilsand a smoky, sweet topping (I actually don?t know what it was, but it was soo good!). The halibut fish and chips were great, theslaw was perfect and not drowning in mayo, and the tarter sauce tasted homemade with just the right amount of horseradish. Wealso ordered a burger, which actually was over cooked BUT to be fair, the restaurant was slammed and Eileen noticed and totallycorrected it? she even surprised us with a comped dessert. And OMG, let me just say that maple cheesecake was one of the bestdesserts I?ve had in a long time! Highly, highly recommend Newbergundian and I can?t wait to return and try more of theirspecials! Amazing food and staff. Chef Shawn (bluest eyes you?ve ever seen) was wonderful. Super friendly staff (Jacob) gave me a... impromptu cooking lesson as I was sitting at the bar.
