Tl;Dr version. Everything is really great... Except the food, which falls flat. We ordered carry-out here for the first time... recently, just to try some different sushi options in the area. The website interface is super easy to use and intuitive whichwas a nice change of pace compared to the usual. Although the bones of the building resemble the Dairy Queen that used to residehere, it looks very nice on the interior and the presumed owners were very courteous and friendly. Our food was fresh and hotwhen we picked it up and everything smelled delicious. We got multiple rolls and noodles to share, just to have some variety.Now don't get me wrong, none of the food was outright bad. But it was hard not to find at least some fault with just abouteverything. The tempura batter was dense and chewy, the chicken was oddly soft and slightly undercooked, the spicy tuna wasunder seasoned, etc. Although the price was phenomenal and the portions generous, the food was all merely OK with a few brightpoints scattered throughout (boba was good, noodles well cooked, eel roll hit the spot). While I'm sure we'll give it anothershot to see if we got a fluke experience, I find it hard to recommend this place over any competitors unless you're just lookingfor the cheapest and/or closest joint. This is our family favorite for Japanese food. Love the sushi, fresh, flavorful, and excellent presentation. Hibachi chicken... is excellent! General Tso and Broccoli Chicken are great choices too. All Day Combo prices and options can?t be beat. Read more
