This location has the owner at so the food is on point. Always great at the original location. The Camarillo location was... awesome, but since the pandemic the vibe has changed there. I ordered double meat x 2 meals, nothing extra was included and Ipaid good money for the extra meat. When I confronted the man who I placed the order with argued with me the loyal customer thatI was wrong... I'm obsessed with this restaurant. I absolutely love the beef shawarma, with a fantastic tahini sauce, but I equally love the... chicken shawarma with a wonderful garlic sauce. Also tried the filet mignon kabobs which were excellent, and I was verysurprised by their wide bakery selection. Beautiful and tasty baklava, and a variety of other Middle Eastern pastries. I alsotasted a warm sweet cheese dessert which was also quite lovely. Try this place, I promise you it will become one of favoriterestaurants. Excellent food, and very nice staff. Part of me wishes they would convert into a full scale sit down restaurant with authentic... cultural music playing though. The ambiance was more like a fast-casual grab-n-go place, but mostly with plates you couldn'treally enjoy in the car. I am extremely disappointed in the service the I received at your restaurant today. I always call in my order and not once have... I had a bad experience until today. When I arrived to pick up my food the cashier was rude and disrespectful. I advised myorder was wrong and she did not want to exchange my order. She over charged me for something I did not order and after all ofthat she still didnt get my order right. It's a shame that you will be losing a customer who frequents your restaurant at least4 times a week only because your cashier was having a bad day. The food is great but time after time we come and hour, hour and a half before closing (9pm) and they are shutting the doors. IF... we get in before they do, we get dirty looks an attitude like we are taking up their time. Horrible customer service! I would gosomewhere else or plan on coming before 6pm! Read more
