Easy access off freeway! Stopped on our way to Monterey from San Diego to grab a sandwich. SO glad we stopped! Super friendly... (super TALL) cashier helped me Navigate the menu and the turkey bacon avocado sandwich on DUTCH CRUNCH bread was delicious! Thepotato Salad was a last minute addition that were glad we added and was yummy too. It was kinda on the sweet side but we bothliked it. Been to this place multiple times now. The service is great and quick. The specialty sandwiches are amazing, could use more veg... options though. Everything I've ordered has been really tasty - can't go wrong essentially. And customization options are plentyif you are into that. The sandwiches here are just OK. They don?t compare to the location in Palm Springs. The staff here was friendly and helped us... order easily, but the sandwich was so soggy and defeated the purpose of the Dutch Crunch. The flavor was fine, but it was notwhat I was expecting. Good sandwiches of course! My #23 needed a lot more marinara sauce but it was tasty. This review is more about health and safety... and service. The service is incredibly slow. Should have called in my order, but it was my first time here and had somequestions and wanted to see the menu more clearly. The one employee of 4 in the shop was making sammies and seemed annoyed thatI was standing and waiting?asked if I needed anything else. Turns out they hadn?t begun on my sandwiches so it was good he saidsomething. At one point, one of the employees started looking for a sandwich in the trash (!) since she mistakenly thought itwas from a canceled order! Omg. Four years of living less than a mile away and I cannot believe I just now found this gem. 25 signature sandwiches or make your... own, 8 possible breads, and all the fixings you could ask for...
