My sons first time joining me at my home town breakfast place ? It's as amazing as I remembered? My son who is ten made me post... a five start review cause they where slammed yet we got seated fast got our food fast and so fresh and hot! He said they havethe best restaurant chicken fingers ever! ???? We really enjoyed our waitress who was very busy but still did a great job! Having breakfast! The food is amazing here! Eggs are perfectly over easy, hash browns are seasoned to perfection and have a... beautiful crispy outside the same with the corned beef hash, the toast is just the right amount of toasted and buttery goodness!Even the coffee tastes wonderful. First timer and ordered carry out. Customer service deserves 5 stars but sadly the food does not. Sausage links are 20/80...yes... i mean 20% sausage and 80% fat. Don't order it. Bacon is underwhelming. Stuffed French toast with strawberries. When I saw thison the menu I thought big fluffy French toast split and stuffed with strawberry cream cheese powdered sugar may be somemacerated strawberries on top with whipped cream. This was more like a French toast sandwich if you will. 2 pieces of Frenchtoast with a strawberry cream cheese spread slapped together. The strawberry garnish unripe and inedible. The only way to makestrawberries edible during the offseason is to macerate them. It only takes a few minutes to prepare and worth it. Read more
Was definitely disappointed. Eggs were over cooked (hard yokes). Omlet was overcooked, dry, and browned. Small portions for the... corned beef hash made it look large but was paper thin and spread out. Home fries had good amount burnt and overly spiced with Ithink rosemary? Orange juice was almost $6. 1 star because they have canned hash and homemade. I ordered the canned (my fav)but tasted very meaty, more like homemade kind. Bread was good. Read more
We came here pressed for time because we had a funeral to attend and needed something on our stomachs. April and Steve were... nothing short of awesome. They got us coffee and menus right away, fast tracked our orders, and we were in and out with plentyof time to get to the funeral parlor. The food was solid, good diner breakfast, from omelets to Belgian waffles, to bacon andsausage. Nice portion sizes, too. Both April and Steve repeatedly came over with coffee refills and asked if we needed anythingelse. They did everything they could to get us in and out--thank you for you sensitivity. I was only visiting, but if I livedthere or visited again, that definitely would be a go-to place for me and my family. Oh yeah, they also have outdoor dining aswell that looked very inviting.
