I have been to Olive?s a bunch of times since they opened up. Since day one they have always been amazing! Staff is always super... friendly, fast, and happy to give recommendations. I often stop by before or after classes, or before work. My most recentfavorite drink has been the iced chaider. It?s the perfect amount of apple cider to chai ratio. If I?m not getting the chaider,I?m typically getting an iced caramel macchiato with oatmilk. Olive?s coffee is great! Way better than Starbucks or Dunkin. Iwould much rather support local to get a better tasting coffee. If you?re wondering about Olive?s baked goods. They are amazing!I?ve tried everything from the cinnamon rolls to the muffins. I?m not one that typically gets baked goods, but once in a while Iwill. My favorite baked good at olives would have to be the cinnamon rolls! If you?re ever in the area and looking for a smallcoffee shop/ bake house to stop at. Without a doubt do I recommend Olive?s coffee, you will not be disappointed at all. Read more

I just went to Olive's for the first time and didn't know there was a cream and sugar station until I walked back to the store... with the coffee. The lovely woman behind the counter took such good care of me. I was completely embarrassed by my shaky hands(side affect of meds) and she helped me to get the cream and sugar so I didn't spill it all over myself. Thanks so much forrecognizing and understanding. Just happened across this gem on my way back from a job. The atmosphere was just fantastic. The owner has done a wonderful job... with setting up a space that feels like a joy to be in. There was some lo-fi music playing through that made me want to spendtime here. But unfortunately the space is small and there were no chairs or tables, so it's pretty much take out only. Though Inormally just opt for black coffee, I got a Salted Caramel Latte to see their craft. I also got enticed by the cookies sincethis is also a bake shop. The latte was immaculate, with wonderful consistency and flavor. I would have preferred more caramelflavor, but that's a preference thing. Just something to take note of if you want a lot of flavor in your coffee. The cookie wasvery good, but not perfect, and a little pricey at almost $3 for a relatively small one--for a bakery anyway. The other bakedgoods were similarly on the high end, and just a bit more than I would expect and have seen at other bakeries. The owner wasnice and proud of the shop, and she should be. It's beautiful. I was looking forward to sitting down and doing my work notes, soI would definitely prefer a place to sit. And I didn't personally find the cookie to be a good value. But what a great place anda well-made coffee. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Read more

We love to support small business in general,... but even more so when the ownership and employees are so passionate about what they do. Cute pastry and coffee shop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of standard pastry selections. Not many vegan options... besides the vegan blueberry muffin. Wish they were more adventurous in the vegan area. A few GF options. With two long-standingbakeries already in Newburyport--as well as coffee shops--Olive's would do well to find a distinction that will allow them to apurposed destination.
