Though a small restaurant with only a few parking spaces, Park Lunch impressed me in spades with not only it's food, but also... sports themed atmosphere. This establishment has been a Newburyport staple for many years and has come to be adored by thosewho find out about it. I had the fried clam dinner. I have had fried clams many times and in several eateries, but these wereamong the best I've had. Tender and tasty morsels with a dilly homemade tartar sauce served along side a bed of crispy friesand deliciously creamy cole slaw. Do yourself a favor, find a parking spot someplace downtown and make your way to Park Lunch! Read more

My boyfriend and I went there for a lunch this past Saturday. Great service, good food. Good atmosphere. It was nice to see one... of the waitresses after so long, but Parke Lunch is definitely a place to go! Read more
Old school sports bar serving the true 'Porters! Friendly foods and really great food! Inside it has a wooden bar and dining... area for about 50 folks! You're surrounded by sports memorabilia, mostly Newburyport High and college teams. Service was fastand very friendly. Very clean place throughout. I came because I'd heard that have excellent fried clams. Verdict: AWESOME! Hugeportion of super sweet clans, fried just to crispy. (Now right at the moment clams are in short supply and great demand, soprices are through the roof! This serving was $36.95). Note: Please see the picture of the clam plate after I finished theclams. Sir places cover a giant mound of fries with a few clams. This was almost all clams! (Disclaimer...my wife ate about 5fries before I took the pic!) My wife got a meatball sub, which was good and a nice sauce as well. A couple beers and it was anawesome lunch at a reasonable cost, if not for the current markup on clams. I would highly recommend a stop here when inNewburyport to avoid the touristy places on the main roads. Read more
A ten minute walk from the bridge ???? at the edge of downtown Newburyport. It was a nice ???? neighborhood to walk through and... smell the flowers ????. We dined outside. I had a burger ???? with lettuce ????, tomato ????, onion ???? and mayo and a side ofpasta salad. My friend, she had the special, a grilled chicken ???? wrap with balsamic vinaigrette, feta cheese, red onion ????and spinach with fries. Both of us had unsweetened ice tea for drinks. All of the food was good, though I ???? thought ???? thepasta salad could have had a little more mayo. The macaroni was perfectly cooked, no undercooked noodles. Prices are reasonable.I compared online to downtown Newburyport restaurant's prices and Park Lunch is competitive. Burger ???? goes up in price themore you want with it. Portion to price, especially the macaroni salad, is good. The chicken ???? wrap was a daily special, nota menu item. Wifi available. Facemasks are not required. Bathrooms were in good shape. AC was on inside. Service was good! Lightrock played on the speaker ????, ???? Eagles, Mac, Queen ????, Petty, ECT. If you dine outside, be careful of the tables. Thebreeze started to tilt the table a little. I kept my foot ???? on a table leg to keep it steady. I recommend a visit. Update:Sunday afternoon, July 2021; We ate inside. Absolute five star rating! We went here on a suggestion from our friends and we were NOT disappointed. The fried seafood was the... best and the tartar sauce was fantastic. The boys loved the decor as we were reading all of the college pennants while we waitedfor our food. The wait staff was fantastic and the wait time was even better. We will definitely be back.
