Bartender was friendly accurate, and quick, and was remarkably patient with the old guy sitting next to us who sent his off-menu... vodka concoction back 3x. I've never seen someone so entitled and she handled it like a champ. Food was decent. Oysters werepricey and selection was limited, but they tasted great and were opened cleanly. Chowder had a lot of clams and other bits init, but could stand to be more heavily seasoned. Fried Pickles came out extraordinarily hot and fresh, and burst with juice.Very good. I got a roast beef pizza, with onion rings on it. It was okay. The onion rings were great, but there was hardly anymeat on it and it tasted overly sweet without complexity to the sauce. You'd be better off going elsewhere for a roast beef 3way. Read more
My first impression was of a hip, upscale seasi, well riverside resort establishment in which I wouldn't necessarily fit during... the evening. Instead I found it to be a welcoming check on my Essex County culinary to do list. I specifically went for thechowder fries and they more than lived up to my expectations. A decent lunch. The chowder it taste like heated from the can and the rice was something like quinoa but for the rest it was... decent. The waiter was nice and very helpful, the hostess less than nice. Read more
Great Oysters and fabulous warm lobster roll to set the bar high! Great service, shout out to Kayla doing double shifts and... still such a pleasant server. Banana split a GREAT finish. Good wine list. Just don't order the beet salad, there's too manybetter options. Read more
The place is nice. It has a nice location. They have two outside areas available. We were sitting with a nice view of the water.... The food was great. Everything tasted delicious. This place is pricey but what else do you expect from a touristy place. Iordered New England clam chowder and Baked scallops. I had two cocktails Sea Level Sangria and Old Town Moonjito. Cocktailswere okay, sangria did not have enough taste and Moonjito was too strong even tho I asked for a nice and sweet drink. Theservice was great, everyone was nice and friendly. Read more
