Starboard Galley: Food is always consistent ~ Good. The prices always stable ~ reasonable. The service always Excellent.
Mom wanted a good baked haddock with bread crumbs and we found it here! I enjoyed my “shrimp scampi” but it was different... than I expected: more of a platter of fried breaded shrimp and pasta with clam sauce. Better than what I thought I was ordering!lol And so much food. Read more
I was fortunate to visit as a guest of a local who's family has patronized the restaurant for several years. We visited "under... the radar" so to speak without recognition and yet were served with the most hospitable lovely service. Our food was nothing shyof delicious! We had steamed clams and mussels, a wonderful salad, and fried Haddock. Since it was a beautiful day we satoutside and had a splendid view of the harbor. I'm sure my host would love to keep this close to the vest as it's an old schoolgem of the locals, but they deserve a shout out for doing everything so nicely. Read more
We reserved a table for 8.30 PM, they were gonna close at 9. Even though they're preparing to close, they served us so well and... kindly. We ordered a calamari appetizer, a shrimp scampi, and fish & chips. All of them were so fresh and amazingly tasty. Weloved the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the restaurant itself. The service was so fast! I bet this place is always packedduring the season. You should definitely visit here if you wanna eat fresh seafood. Thumps up! ???? Read more
Hi Everyone My Family and I went to Starboard Galley Restaurant and we got Grilled Tuna Melt with French Fries, cold slaw ... also Caesar Salad Served traditionally and we all love the food ,amazing service and the view of the restaurant was spectacularand marvelous perfect place that I requested for road trip.. Located away from the main area overlooking the water. The staff was very kind and very helpful. The seating was nothing... unusual but comfortable. The menu had a variety of choices, but a little overpriced. The cajun Salmon was bland. The chocolatedessert was mediocre. The drinks were average. It is not a fancy place, but it comfortable place. It was my first trip and Iwould be tempted to try it again. And I would encourage other people to give this place a chance. Read more
This place is hidden gem . Love their food , drinks ,fresh salad . Everything was so so good . Pumpkin pie was not delicious .... It seems it was not fresh but other than that it was a wonderful evening . I highly recommend this place if you are visitingNewbury port! Read more
