Great food and service! Love coming here and always greeted by friendly staff. Love the fact that they upgraded their menu and... was afraid that they remove my favorite rolls. Always order the same items and this time kalbi beef short ribs portionsdecreased. I am guessing due to the inflation and circumstances. Excellent food and service. We ordered a variety of sushi platters and they were all served with great quality and friendly... waiters. The space is not that big so it'd be good to call in early for larger parties. We went during the dinner rush hoursso parking was a bit limited. Overall a very good experience and we will be back. My boyfriend and I frequent this place almost weekly. We love how fresh the sushi is here and we have brought our family here... who also love it. We tend to get a variety of rolls. My dad loves the short ribs. I also really like the croquettes. The serviceis always great here. They provide fresh hot towels to wipe your hands in the beginning and free miso soup which is a raritynowadays. Definitely recommend this spot. First time going, the food was great tons of selection. just about anything that you would want from a Japanese sushi place. Not... a cheep place. Lots of different kinds of sushi rolls you can even get just sushi me. prices are all right and it's very niceAtmosphere. A friend & I visited AJI Sushi & Grill Newcastle on a Thursday evening in May, around 5:30pm and the parking lot was packed with... just a spot left for us. If that is full - try parking in the lot across the street. Inside AJI was busy with people gettingtakeout and dine in - there was no noticeable wait. The beautiful lobby is ready for selfies. Staff was masked and most patronswore masks while walking around, but not while seated & eating. We were seated in the larger of two dining rooms that had aview of the sushi chefs, beautiful lighting fixtures and tasteful modern, sparse decor that lets the food take centerstage. Thestaff was really attentive, bringing complimentary miso soup, taking beverage orders as we sat down, and checking on every tablefrequently. We ordered soft shell crab appetizer, sunomono (cucumber salad), one order salmon sushi, Three Times Lady roll,Dancing Albacore roll, and hot tea. Read more

They have Beautiful interiors and the place is not tightly packed like other Sushi places. They have an extensive menu ranging... from appetizers, Japanese soda, rolls, ribs, hot pot and ramen. The ribs were a pleasant surprise and all the rolls were great.I'd pass on the Monkey Brain. Read more
