Parking may be tough but the bar has good food and it?s a friendly environment
I?ve been to many bars, the bartenders here are some of the worst I?ve ever met. Very racist vibe, except for Jody she?s awesome... and the tall light skin black guy whose a bar back/cook. Also I was here and the crowd is weird as hell, they?re a younger stuckup crowd. One guy was so obsessed about talking about his job as a video game producer but then complained he can?t afford ahouse? Wouldn?t leave me and my bf alone for a bit. Came here a bit after and some blonde lady was so snooty. Came again todayand got denied service for FOOD by the same bartender I?ve tipped twice. I get I didn?t have my ID but no food at all? Nevercoming back again. Went to schoonerville instead for food. Read more

Nothing like the photos. It's a small dive bar. Edited: I should've been more specific in my review. Thank you for the... response, we'll be sure to check out the Junction. From the photos I thought that the place would be a lot more spacious andwell-lit. Id never been here before.The atmosphere captured in the photos was different than what I felt walking in. The placewas very dark, almost hard to navigate bc of how dark it was. Bartender served us almost right away. Drinks were ok- they weresuper strong and my friends and I usually drink 2 to 3 drinks at a place but we felt one was enough. The dj was cool, soundedfun. The patio area was well lit and cozy with the heaters so that was nice. I could tell there were a lot of locals enjoyingthemselves, everyone seemed very friendly and familiar with one another. My favorite SVC "dive" bar. Really a local gem. Love this place. Great service, great drinks & great food. Darts too!!
We have been coming here for years before it was Eighth & Rail. We have seen so much change and it's a good change. The drinks... are always good and the vibe is great. The DJ the last time was a girl and she was great. Good times and good drinks! Read more
