I come here all the time and can say they are without a doubt probably the best range in SoCal. Amazing staff that are super... friendly and very helpful. Loads of fun to have here at the different ranges + guns they have for rent. Funny enough, the peoplethat this range tends to attract are also very friendly and down to earth. Male teenager at the checkin counter at the main store location very rude upon my daughter?s and I arrival , kept questioning... whether my daughter was truly my daughter? Had to repeat my self multiple times before I could get him to understand anydirection. Female at the counter stepped in and did a great job removing him from his poor customer service skills. Never had anissue here in over 15 years, love to come here and spend my hard earned money. Will be looking at alternative venues movingforward. My first encounter with a quiet quitter?.. Read more
I brought my sister here for her birthday to do some clay shooting and we had a blast. All the staff are polite and courteous.... It was our first time and so they brought Joaquin to come and give us a quick tutorial on gun safety, loading andshooting. Four of us shared one 20 gauge shotgun rental with three rounds (3x25=75 shells). We spent a good 1.5 hrs (includingour tutorial) and had a great time. Clay shooting is challenging, fun and worth it! Parking is free and plenty. They also havea restaurant inside that serves a mean bison burger (recommend!). Read more
Minorities beware: Unfriendly, rude and nasty redneck racist work at Oak Tree Gun Club. Last Sunday I brought a lady friend... and requested to use the Paper Target range. We went out to the range and was greeted, more like "barked at" by an unfriendly,rude and nasty redneck racist Range Master. He barked and growl at us with a rude tone and nasty attitude. After we are doneand was driving out, my friend asked "Is there a different range we can go to next time?". You get the idea of howuncomfortable she felt at Oak Tree Gun Club. That guy might be the Range Master, but most likely about a high school GEDeducation level. I would not spend my time and money at Oak Tree Gun Club. There are other ranges to shoot or purchases wherethey appreciate your business and not treat you with attitude based on your race or color. Read more
This is my 2nd time. Coming to Oak Tree Gun Club. My good friend is a member for years. I will be coming here a lot from now... on. The staff here are really nice and helpful. You can rent guns or bring your own. To make things easier. You can fill outthe paper online before you come. I like it here cause it's not too crowded. The staff are laid back. Unlike other ranges thatget made for rapid firing. We had fun here it was a great day. Can't wait to come back. Read more
Great ranges with very friendly staff. There is plenty of room for everyone to shoot, and the steel gallery for pistol shooting... is a lot of fun. They finally added online liability waivers which makes check-in much faster. Prices on guns are decent andthere are plenty of rentals available. Read more
First time shooting at this range. The clay and skeet ranges looked nice, but the rifle range is a 3-ring circus. You pay by... the hour, but I had to wait 30 minutes for them to call a cease fire so I could set out my paper target (I was there to be suremy muzzleloader was still zeroed in). There were a lot of inexperienced shooters there. Several were shooting shot guns at the50 yard metal targets. Several hit my paper target in the process cause the pellet spreads were over 5 feet in diameter. Several kids were crying cause they had all calibers on the same range. The kids wanted to shoot 22 rifles, but were set upnear high-powered rifles. Not family friendly. If you want a quality shooting experience, there are much better ranges around. Look elsewhere.
