I love this place. It's easy to get to, and there's always free parking out front. It's small, and very rustic inside. The food... never disappoints, and the 'wow' factor is there for every plate that is put in front of you. The bathrooms are downstairs, so,if stairs are an issue, that is something to be aware of. There are draft and canned beers available, as well as 'creative'mixed drinks. The staff are very friendly, why our server even took a group picture of us! If you go, bon a petit! Read more
Let me start by saying the actual service was great in all aspects. The street corn was fantastic and the drinks were pretty... spot on. The French dip sandwich was a little lack luster and almost looked like something you'd get at a sub shop. I've hadamazing experiences here before and I expected more than just a "steak and cheese" sub with au jus. Read more

This place is a 10 out of 10 on the Dankness Scale! What I loved best was how detailed and energetic the waiter was! There?s... only one cook so everything is really consistent which is super Dank! I used to live in Newmarket for 2 years and recently was in town for work; so of course I had to stop in for a bite to eat at my... favorite bar/restaurant River works! I had the cheese burger and fries, it was cooked perfectly! The waitstaff is alwaysfriendly and prompt to take your order. I just love this place, feels like home! Read more
On our way home, we found this restaurant. The food and service was very good. We had an appetizer with squash, sweet potatoes,... apples, and a sweet sauce. It was so good. We had the special pasta dish, which was ricotta, kale, and spinach stuffed homemaderavioli with a cashew pesto sauce topped with a corn relish. That was very good also.
