Came here because of the reviews but was disappointed in their drinks. Ordered a cortado (which was okay) and an oat flat white.... The oat flat white was very disappointing, it just tasted like warm oat milk. We didn?t get latte art as advertised on theirInstagram. We wanted to stay at the cafe and read, but there were plates piled up on the tables from previous guests. Read more
I?m conflicted writing this review because we?ve had many great experiences at Cardinal Press. Today however, we made a simple... request for a cup of water for our dog while we sat on the patio and were disappointed that the barista said she?d need tocharge us for it. We appreciate that you offer a dog bowl outside but the water appeared dirty and we are wary of communal dogbowls and disease transmission. It?s not about the cost of the cup, it?s just disappointing that after waiting in line over 20minutes, paying a premium price, and tipping, that a simple request like this couldn?t be accommodated. I?m not sure we?ll rushback to Cardinal Press, given that there are other good coffee shops in the area that treat dog owners better. Read more
This place is so popular and for good reason. I have had their latte and cappuccino and both are delicious. Their food is good... too. I especially like their morning glory muffin and pecan dessert bar. So nice to have a place like this close to home. Read more
Not recommend for rush-style of getting a quick coffee they can be quit busy; but a very cool atmosphere with lovely team to... seat down ! And the teas and coffee are tasty as well and I haven?t even tried the breakfast yet; but seems so tasty! Anywayenjoy fellows! Read more
Open and humming! Really enjoyed this coffee shop. Ordered a hot chocolate, Newmarket fog, espresso shot, and reg coffee and... everyone loved it. Guy behind the counter was friendly and had great vibes! Line got a bit busy at one point and one customerleft because of the wait. He worked hard and managed to get everyone out happy that actually ordered. Def would come back if Ilived any closer! Read more
It was a sunny Sunday. My wife, daughter, and I took a stroll along downtown Newmarket. We stopped at Cardinal for the first... time for a hot drink. Cardinal press IS the heart of Newmarket, a place where you?ll bump into people you know and the owners will greet with a smile... :) You won?t regret making this place a regular stop during the week and on Sundays come and enjoy the pop up brunch! Highlyrecommend the muffin and London fog combo if you?re there before they sell out, otherwise their cookies are life! ?????? Read more
