Service was attentive and prompt. Open kitchen was nice to see and the atmosphere was classic pub. Food was excellent - burgers... were cooked perfectly for my taste and the fries were great. My Nashville burger was slightly too burned for my liking but overall, tasty burgers! The food also takes a while for it to come... out, but it wasn?t much of an issue because we were enjoying the patio outside. They also played live music which was veryentertaining. My favourite go-to place in Newmarket!! So many delicious choices for burgers and decently priced considering the quality. They... changed their menus during the pandemic and again after but I?m glad to see that they kept some of the favourite choices forburgers. Amazing on a bun, with a drizzle of amazing and finished with a dash of amazing. The live music is seriously good. The service... is fast and friendly. GBB Smash burger is a personal favorite. A lot of detail has gone into selecting every sauce, topping,seasoning and ingredients, and it shows. The brioche bun was sensational. Read more
YUM! If you love a good burger, then you?ll love Ground Burger Bar. I went for lunch & sat on the spacious patio. Started with... the pickle chips which were absolutely delicious & I highly recommend! I had the Cali Burger for my main, which was a greatchoice! The veg was fresh & the burger was cooked exactly how I wanted (med rare) ????. I loved the combination of bananapeppers & avocado, to the softness of the potato bun! My friend really enjoyed her custom built grilled chicken burger. Thefries were definitely a standout! ???? they were perfectly crispy & hot! Visited this place with my boyfriend for dinner on a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere and ambience... was great with a live band playing. The hostess seated us in the outdoor patio. Our server greeted us and took our ordersswiftly. While our drinks came right away, we did have to wait a little longer for our burgers to arrive, yet it was deliciousand cooked to perfection. Would love to try their build-a-burger option next time! Grabbed take out from thus since the reviews were so good and it's been rated highly as burger place in Canada for 3 years (#17... in 2020). The menu is incredibly diverse with kids of options for buns, proteins and toppings, as well as a build your own. Atfirst glance, the portion size of the sides looked small because the contents didn't fill up halfway in the container,especially the sweet potato wedges but after eating everything, I was very full. The burgers are really good, perfectly cooked,full flavoured and very juicy. It's a messy eat but worth it. The sides are really good too, perfectly fried (no oil residue)and not overly salty. Located near Newmarket?s Riverwalk, this place has warm rustic decor, great burgers and sandwiches! I got the OG Chick, the hubs... got the Smash Mac(which he devoured in minutes) Fries were also really crispy and delicious! Make sure to ask for extra napkinsas it can get messy!
