Went for my moms birthday, took about 15 minutes for a server to arrive. Only one person came between and asked ?is someone... serving you yet? and we said no. She asked if we wanted a drink but we already had drinks so we said no That was it. 15 minutespass and we mention this to her as she passed by and she said ?well I already asked if someone came over to you.? No apology oranything. My mom and aunt enjoyed their food at least, my vegetarian linguine was bland. Server asked if food was good and Isaid sure but wanted to get pepper to see if it was better? it wasn?t. I LOVE this place. Mackenzie and Megan Mac are amazing. I drive here from Mississauga about once a week these days simply... because the girls are so kind to chat with, and they make the best espresso martinis I've ever had in my life. They've known my"usual" since my second visit and have always given the best, friendliest, professional service. Hard working girls always killit. First visit to this beautiful patio. It was hard to decide what to have as everything sounded delicious. I had the avocado toast... with pickled peaches (SO good) and my husband had the Benny (he loved it too) However, as much as we were thrilled with ourfood choices, the best part of our dining experience was our server, KENNEDY. I rarely post negative reviews, but our dining experience was so disappointing, I feel compelled to share our experience. There... were issues with the quality of the food, the timing of the delivery of the food, as well as the quality of the serviceprovided. Two cocktails arrived before the third was served. One of the appetizers that was ordered as an entree arrivedbefore any other food, when it was clearly understood that it was going to be an entree. The next two choices were thendelivered, while our daughter's dinner was served quite a bit after all the other food. The empanadas were very doughy . . .almost as though they had not been fully cooked. A request for hot sauce was not delivered. All in all, a very poorexperience. I am not sure if the timing of the food delivery was the fault of the server or the kitchen, but an effort shouldbe made to ensure all food arrives at the same time so no one is sitting around waiting, while others have their meals. Theserver was very apologetic throughout the entire service, but that only seemed to highlight all the things that were goingwrong. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Read more
Loved it. Wonderful flavours. Cozy. The parsnip fries were great and not at all what I expect from parsnip.
This was one of the best dinners we've ever had. My husband and daughter and I opted for the Chefs Tasting special. A... selection of choices made by the chef, with some input from us through our server asking us what we like generally. It was $50a person (reg$55) but it also included a drink and dessert and it was served family style. Let me tell you, you will not bedisappointed. So much good quality food! And the servers were all fantastic. Wonderful place with a nice higher end vibe. Thepatio was also full. I can't say enough about the food and that they try very hard to please by tailoring the items you receiveto things that you indicated you would enjoy. We will definitely be back!! Check the pics. The food is excellent, but the presentation needs work. Ordered the steak, however its served in bowl on top of fries. The steak... is partially sliced but you still need to cut it, which is hard when it's in a bowl on top soft fries. Also no one at my tablegot a steak knife either. I ended having to use my hands and ripping it apart instead. Fries we're VERY salty. Read more
