Came here for my bday. Decor is beautiful - warm and cozy. Ordered the old fashioned and mojito . Old fashioned was amazing... while mojito was very sour. For appetizers, ordered the calamari (not pictured) and the escargot. Calamari was a hit - crispyand not the chewy kind while the escargot was a disappointment as sauce was too overpowering. The mains were amazing and weordered all the proteins. Every dish was cooked to perfection. I did not get any crab in my salmon dish which was the onlycomplaint. Read more

We came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. Kristy was AMAZING!! I had a recent flare up of my Crohn's and she was able to... make great suggestions for me and everything was so yummy. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers AND our meals (i had the filetminion with salad pictured here). The staff was incredible with our group of 9. Hubby & I took his dad to the Keg in Newmarket for his 70th birthday. Everything about it was enjoyable from the kind staff, the... Covid protocols in place (contact tracing, plexiglass extended the height of the booth, not being seated next to another tablethat was close) as well as their attentive manner that we were celebrating a special occasion and the great atmosphere. Ourserver Sam was kind & checked on us regularly making sure our steak was cooked as requested and other times just to check it butit was never overbearing. She was aware of my FIL's birthday so brought out the Billy Milner pie and wished him a happybirthday. Oh have to mention that all the food was delicious! The iceberg salad with blue cheese dressing was fresh & yummy (andit was so big for the salad that came with the classic meals) + my steak was cooked a medium rare which is my preference. Got to the door and they told us we needed reservations. This from a place that never took reservations in the past. Anyway they... were able to seat us. It was super busy but the staff was very attentive. Of course the amazing bread was served within minutesand it was hard not to eat it all. For appetizers we ordered escargot. Amazing. And the cauliflower crisp bites which werefabulous. They have many vegetarian options on the menu. I ordered the vegetarian meatloaf. It looked fantastic but not really afan of the taste. My partner had the bacon wrapped steak and enjoyed it. My only complaint was the the music was a bit on theloud side for conversation. But you can not be the keg for food quality and amazing service. We went on Saturday November 5 for my Daughters BF birthday. Could not get an early reservation so ended up with a 9:00 one. ... David was our server. He went above and beyond with his Customer Service. We were very pleased and impressed with everything. My Husband ordered French Onion Soup but it was forgotten. David comped us all with Desserts.
