We just wanted some fried korean chicken but there is not in the area so gave this one a try and it was suprisingly good. I can’t stop thinking about this chicken sandwich - we came on a Tuesday and found the 10$ chicken sandwich deal (usually $14)... and it did not disappoint! Chicken was HUGE and fried fresh, super crispy, and the toppings really hit all the flavour notes -it was sweet, spicy, sour, and savoury all at the same! We also got the cornbread which came with hot honey butter which wasalso delicious but because we were too stuffed we didn’t really get to enjoy as much as we could have. Read more
Nice little place in the mall. Clean , spaced and overall a good layout and style. It was simple and cozy. Staff were willing to... serve and attentive. They were getting busy but it didn't deter the level of service. It was our first time here. Pros are goodportions, and food came out in a reasonable time. Cons are ( and probably maybe it was an off day) food didn't hit the mark. Thequality of ingredients were there but not the execution. For example the home made ice tea was too sour. Our kids ordered eachtheir own but couldn't get past a few sips. I tried it as well and it was simply not palatable. . The chicken strips andsandwiches were over cooked to the point you can taste the over cooked near burnt flour on the coating.The dredging/coating isvery thick so if it's over fried will easily hold that burt taste. Coleslaw was too salty and fries had no seasoning (but maybeby design for the fries so I'll give them that). Roasted brussel sprouts were probably the best thing we got. We didnt eat allthe food but the staff was gracious to give us some quality take away trays. I'll give it 3 stars but I'm sure on most days theycan be a 4 star easily.
