My friend and I wanted to try out a local restaurant after hiking. We looked up some reviews for Italian restaurants nearby and... this place popped up with quite good reviews. So, we made our way to the restaurant. Although the outdoor appearance of theirrestaurant and front doorway seemed unappealing, once inside, it was comfortable and welcoming. We were seated within 5 minutesand because it was early (3:30PM) there were only 3 other tables. The server got us our drinks first while we scanned the menu. The prices were very affordable. We started with the 'homemade' barley soup. Very hearty and tasty. Next, we enjoyed theItalian poutine (fries, meat sauce, meatballs and a lot of cheese). Every fork lifted layers of gooey cheese. We also orderedthe Penne a la Vodka and the Veal Parmigiano. The portions were huge, so much that we were able to bring home the leftovers foranother family meal. As we left, the restaurant started filling up so if you want to eat here during prime dinner times, Iwould suggest you make a reservation. Overall, we had a great experience. Read more
