Not sure how they got all of these good ratings. The tzatziki was overly sweet and didn't have a nice dill taste. I ordered... the chicken gyro but couldn't tell which meat I received. I had the most amazing experience today at Pita! I walked in (with a mask on) and immediately James (who I have no prior... knowledge of) knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I was so surprised. That alone made my entire experience. He and his teammate Matt arethe ?Dynamic Duo?. The reason I become more of a frequent visitor will be because of them. They were super accommodating and Ihad never experienced the service I got on today. 10/10 Would recommend! And would ask Matt to make your food, every time! Read more

Mediterranean food is in my top three list as favorites go, so I'm always up for it. Yesterday, I found myself hungry and in the... vscinity of Pita Mediterranean Street Food in Ashley Park. I almost didn't go in as the last couple of visits to that location left me pretty flat, but my mouth was seriously craving gyro meat, so... I should have gone with my first thought. Therestaurant is located in a bit of a nook and doesn't get a lot if light, so it doesn't feel vibrant to begin with. The bareconcrete floors do nothing to help the dark mood of the place, and on my last visit, that was compounded by sticky. Short of theentry at the back of the building, the entire floor was sticky and gross. I mean I get it; it's a working restaurant, and it wasjust after lunch. I was willing to overlook it even, but I had to pick up the legs of the chair before I could pull it out as itwas literally stuck to the floor! I got my order to go. As I said, I've been to Pita (varying locations) many times and have apretty good idea of what to expect. Mouth watering and ready for the (usually) scummy, thick-sliced, perfectly grilledvegetables, I was greeted with three small pieces of carrot and one and a half pieces of zucchini. These were not the usualthick perfectly cooked slices I craved. The carrots were over cooked charred on the edges and dry--the zucchini wedgesovercooked on one side, dried out on the other. I have no real complaint about the gyro meat or hummus--though I do wonder atthe $1 upcharge for selecting two tablespoons of hummus as a side. This review is Ashley Park specific, as other locations havebeen better, but since moving to Georgia in 2016, I think the menu changes (all locations) have become more limited, and thequality (again all locations) has declined.
