My family and I love Indian food, and Star of India did not disappoint in flavor. We are new to Newnan so even finding a spot... like Star of India was a rare find for this foodie family. We are looking forward to returning and maybe try the buffet becausewe ordered off the menu and did not receive enough meat. The naan was amazing in taste and flavor. Other than the quantity offood, the quality far surpassed our expectation. Also, their customer service was impeccable! They have outside seating and lotsof parking. Read more

The food was pretty good, but if you are looking for traditional Indian food this may not be the best for you. Overall it was a... good experience. The place was clean and the food was yummy. The good at the buffet area was not spicy at all, but the sauce forthe lamb chops was super delicious and had a kick to it. Read more

So good, one of our go to date night spots. Their spice levels are awesome. Spicy but still has a little bit of sweet to it! We... always leave happy and full. Staff is super friendly too! Read more

Frozen packed food especially Naan is not what anyone would expect to pay $3.95 each Being an Indian the love for indian food... is always there... but its sometime disheartening and disappointing when India restaurants serves frozen foods and chargeextra.. its like Indians are fooling Americans... We order a hell lot things coz.. we are a big FOODIES... here's what weordered Goat curry Shrimp tikka masala 4 naan all different.. 1 garlic, 1 onion, 1 kheema and 1 paneer 2 mango lassi 2 gulabjamun Goat curry $20 -- very spicy inspite of asking medium spicy.. the Goat curry was embedded with sharp bone fragments. There was hardly any meat. The goat was mainly bone and fat. I had to dig through the food to cut away the bone fragments andHOT ???? ???? -- Taste good Shrimp tikka masala $20 .. waste of money.. its a sweet thai coconut curry bland with 6 shrimps. 2packs Gulab jamun $5 for 2 pcs -- OK... but not worth either. 2 Mango Lassi $4 each-- was also OK .. So overall worth ... 2star for gulab jamun and mango lassi 4 naan $3.95 each -- frozen packed naan warmed and served ???????????????????????? wasteof money Read more

*Bone fragments hidden in Biryani* This was my first time ordering from this location. A friend of mine recommended I try goat... Biryani, so I ordered that as the main dish along with Naan and fish Pakora. All the dishes tasted very good, but the Biryaniwas embedded with sharp bone fragments. There was hardly any meat. The goat was mainly bone and fat. I was lucky to not break atooth and had to dig through the food to cut away the bone fragments. If I eat here again I'll be trying a different dish. Read more

Located in a Newnan plaza, this was not a crowded place. It is spacious and has pretty decor inside. The buffet was good and... flavorful, but not spicy at all. The staff was very attentive. The hot tea is on the buffet which is a plus. Read more
