I guess it was my fault. I have a rule of thumb that if the line is long the fries will be fresh and hot. OMG, the outside... smelled like there was a 5 alarm fire. That was terrible, but not as horrific as the food. The fries smelled like cinder andsmoke. They were not edible. LISTEN? When I tell you this is the greatest Zaxby?s location on the face of this earth, I?m not messing around. These people... are top notch. The staff here become your best friends in a matter of seconds. They?re on top of it and they?re the nicestZaxby?s employees I?ve ever come across. Before you even get your food you?re taken aback by the service. AND THEN? On top ofall the friendliness and professionalism, the speed in which they get your food to you is on a whole different level.Chick-fil-A ain?t nothing compared to this specific Zaxby?s. These people must be reading your mind and start your order earlybecause I swear, by time I pull up to the window to pay, they got my order hanging out the window and ready to roll. Not good at all which is very surprising as I have never had a bad experience with them. Well today was the day. I was on my... lunch break and decided to go in thinking it would be quicker. They always get something wrong with the order. I always order wings and things, white cheddar bites, and the chicken finger... plate. This time, they got everything right, but when I asked for no ice in either drink, both drinks were loaded with ice tothe top of the cup. There was more ice per volume than soda. The soda tasted like water. When I tried to get the attention ofthe individuals at the window, all four of them, including a manager that was with them, ignored my pleas. One of them lookeddirectly at me, and then proceeded to close the window and walk away. I hate sounding like a total Karen, but that just rustlesmy jimmies.
