I'm underwhelmed with my experience at Brio tonight. I came in for dinner around 8 pm and sat at the bar. The bar was filthy... from one side to the other with dirty plates and glassware (which remained on the bar the whole time I was there). I ordered thecarpaccio as an appetizer, which was delicious! I followed that with the beef (filet) medallions. The medallions were laughablysmall, over cooked, and tough. The mashed potatoes were unfortunately cold. The bartender never checked in to see how the foodwas (despite having only 2 guests at the bar). Both my beer glass and water glass sat empty. Not a manager in sight. When itcame time to pay I sat around for 15 minutes waiting to cash out. The place could use a deep scrub and maybe some newleadership. I recommend grabbing an appetizer here and finding somewhere else for dinner. Read more
Loved both the ambience and the food. Feels a little upscale and nice. The prices are a little higher than what I usually pay... but not prohibitive, and in-line with the quality of the food. The only negative I could think of is that the noise fromconversations of the patrons did get a little loud. Maybe a little sound dampening would make it easier to have dinnerconversations. But the food is well prepared and delicious and worth putting up with a little noise. Read more
We went here for dinner and thought the food was amazing! I got the ravioli and my husband got the chicken Milanese and both... dinners were great! The atmosphere was very pretty and the service was excellent! Give this restaurant a try, you will not besorry you did. ???? Read more
I was in town for a conference and have wanted to try this place for a few years . The food here was amazing! The problem ...was... told when we called to make a reservation, they said they weren't taking them, but that we could be put on a wait list. Okay noproblem. When we show up, we find out that indeed they took reservations, but just not for our party. Group after group ofpeople were seated before us and when we went to ask how much longer we were literally talked down to by management. Completelyunacceptable. When we were finally seated, albeit two hours of waiting past our time that they told us, we were ignored by thewait staff. Now I can say that they were busy, but still. I had to go to the bar and get straws because the waiter said theydidn't have anymore. I even had to grab limes from the bar as our server told us there were no lemons and after asking for limeshe didn't return. When our food came out, again the food was delicious, one of our party is unable to eat sausage. She asked forplain spaghetti and a beef sauce, she got spaghetti and a beef and sausage sauce. She wasn't able to eat any of her meal butstill got charged for it! I'm sorry that's just unacceptable. When we were done our server split our checks accordingly, we hada party of nine, and all of a sudden was super nice and attentive to us. Overall I was disappointed in the way we were treated.But I have to give a shout out to the guys at the bar! They absolutely rocked and made the best lemon drop shots I've everhad!!! NOT GOOD. I've been here with my family on Christmas Eve for the last 4 years and it gets worse and worse. This year, we had a... reservation for 6:15 and didn't sit until 7pm, same as many others waiting for a table in the lobby. Our waitress was talkingfor several minutes about how she's pregnant, her baby's under weight, she had the flu last week, she was puking at home, beforewe even ordered our drinks. The appetizer never showed up until we asked and even then it came out cold. The chopped saladwasn't even chopped. Dirty dishes piled up and weren't removed. My dad's food was cold and our waitress said she didn't evenknow when our food was ready because she was sitting down resting in the back. He sent his back for hot food and they gave ustwo(?) replacements, both in to-go containers, even though he hadnt even eaten yet, so he ate his Christmas Eve dinner out of ato-go container at the table when it finally arrived. They gave us a gift card and discount but weren't appololgetic when wefirst mentioned our cold food. We would much rather have paid full price for hot food and good service! Shrimp & scallop risotto was a total disappointment! The description failed to mention the scallops are the size of peas! ... Risotto was underdone, not good at all. The chicken in chicken Marsala was rubbery. We did enjoy the chopped salad andcheesecake. Had we been dining in, we would’ve sent it all back. While Brio is a chain restaurant, I’ve enjoyed excellentfood here before! Will not visit this location again. Read more
