The food is slightly above average but the staff takes a 3/4 star review to a 5! It?s honestly like a lower quality... chipotle/dick?s last resort hybrid lol. I?ve probably been to this location 20+ times over the last 3-4 years and never onceseen a smile. These people don?t even pretend to be upbeat. Extra props to the man who always wears the hat? he literally lookshe hates life. The first few times I came in I was a little taken aback by the grouchy behavior, but now I expect it and it?skind of humorous (although I do feel bad for the employees because they must be miserable). I always leave a tip to try to maketheir day a little better but I really don?t think it has any impact. Read more

Food was OK but workers were rude. When I asked where the kids meal was she said ? there is the quesadilla ?. Didn?t offer the... drink. When I asked where the sauce was she said ? I didn?t bag this order? . The cashier was also rude. The taco was tiny. . Iwon?t go back to this location. Read more
i love hothead. i come here all the time. but the customer service isn?t great by all means. every employee looks and acts like... they?re miserable. today i walked up to the line and the girl just stood there and stared at me with a disgusted look on herface until i said something. proceeded to take her good ol time with everything, and sloppily threw stuff into my burrito. ithink she probably said a total of two words the whole time. i used to work at a hothead when i was younger, so i get it. it?snot the most glorious job in the world. but i still put on a smile when customers came around, or atleast said more than just?do you want your receipt? The food is absolutely phenomenal as long as you get SAUCE. Their signature Hot Head sauce is a must on all bowls and the... teriyaki is perfectly sweet and salty. I would give this place 5 stars all day if it weren't for all of the employees who lookabsolutely miserable working there. I'm not saying they're rude but they're not the friendliest either. A simple smile and beinggreeted with "Hey, how are you?" used to be commonplace. The employees represent the company and appearing to be miserable atwork just deters me from wanting to come back, regardless of how amazing the food is. I get that there is a lot going on in theworld right now but some common courtesy and a smile is something we could all use a bit more of. Read more
i come here almost weekly. most of the staff are nice, but the guy in the baseball hat always looks like he's in a bad mood.... I've literally never seen him smile. he also gives the bare minimum ingredients in the tacos. Other than that, good location. Read more
Good quality food and great in quantity as well.. turnaround time is very short.. Ambient looking place with outdoor seating and... free parking.. In the heart of Newport shopping center so convenient if are hungry for a big meal after shopping. Read more
