Every visit is amazing! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious! Biscuits and gravy with... fried eggs is my favorite, with the turkey pesto sandwich coming in second. The sugar cookie cutouts have great flavor and arealways decorated adorably! Of the cookies, you can't go wrong with the peanut butter cookie! It has a chocolate drizzle thataccents it perfectly! I also love that they have their year round staples, with seasonal favorites to look forward to! Read more
The food is incredible! I got the apple butter turkey sandwich, and it came in a croissant the size of my plate! The coffee... fight is awesome, and the spiced maple latte is my new favorite! It was so worth the 45 minute drive! Read more

We have visited the mitten a few times. Food is always good. Service has always been good. But then we decided to try their new... coffee flights recently. You get 5 large coffees. Very generous portions. So after an hour of sitting and drinking we still hadsome left. I asked for ONE to go cup for the remainder of one as we needed to go. They wouldn't allow one and said it was dinein only. ...but, I already paid for the product. So I don't understand this logic. And we were dining in for an hour. I didn'twant to just throw it away. Ok this cafe just rocked the entire city if not state with the best baking. we have tried so many HoHo cakes from several places... for my mothers bday every year and theirs is the best by far. Frosting is real and fluffy light buttercream. perfect ganache.the cake was super moist and oh goodness, they slipped some little secret chocolate chips in the batter for a full twist. myparents live locally and are always raving about their soups as well! The Mitten Cafe & Bakeshop is beyond delicious. Our wedding cake was made by The Mitten (which at this time they don't offer... this service at the moment) and it was absolutely beautiful and it tasted out of this world.
