Wouldn't stop here if you actually want to be treated like a customer and not dirt on the bottom of someone shoe. Very busy... location very rude staff. In the middle of ordering we were told to stop our order and complete it at the window at the windowwas interrupted multiple times / ignored due to multitasking no problem finally got to the next window and we're receiving a lotof attitude. We informed the man that was giving us our food that we needed two drinks two pies. This upset him a lot. And ledto him complaining and bad-mouthing customers in front of us with the window open to other employees in front of his managerwith no shame. Instead of explaining to us that our order simply had not been rang up and then bringing us up for the four itemswe needed or even telling us to pull back around he decided to stand there and complain it wasn't until the manager overheardhis complaints and walked over that we were able to square up our meal which took all of 2 seconds. Would have been a lotquicker to just inform us and be helpful but everybody has bad days. Not from here not sure what this McDonald's is usually likebut on a busy day I suggest stopping somewhere else. Don't know why I keep going here. Routinely they fail to serve my order correct or complete. Plus, almost $22 for two... breakfast meals. You might order a sausage biscuit with egg meal and get this disappointing mess with no hash browns included. Last visit. Too many other good options in Newport. Read more
The staff is usually nice. However the line system in the drive thru is definitely faulty. I pulled in and was the only car I... was asked to wait and another car pulled to the otherside and was immediately having their order taken while I was stillwaiting I watched 3 cars on that side order before I was even checked in with again and I said" what the heck is going on"immediately someone came on to take my order no apology or explanation I let it go thinking it may be an isolated incident but afew days later the exact same thing happened both times I came through the right lane. I?m not one to normally complain because I do understand that sometimes people make mistakes but I was very unimpressed with the... service? the guy at the second widow of the drive through was rude and short with us even when we continue to be thankful. Fast and convenient service. Food quality was up to the usual standards. I did not have to wait very long in line and I use the... drive-thru. I use the McDonald's app which worked very well. My food was hot when I received it and the staff were friendly. Read more
