Food was not very tasty, the country gravy was sausage gravy instead, the steak was shriveled up and dry, the tortilla bowl for... a taco salad was stale and taste like it had been refried. Only was checked on once to see if we needed anymore to drink eventhough we were done and ready for the bill by that time. We were the only ones in there until almost the end of our meal. Thewoman's restroom was disgusting and the only thing in there that looked remotely good was the brand newish looking garbage can. Read more
Just did takeout for waffle, short stack, and home fires. Foods so good and such great prices. Large pancakes for the price in... comparison to other places that's like $10 for 1 lg pancake. The women there was very nice as well. Read more

Sad, just sad. Had fish and chips, honestly the frozen battered fish from the store is better than this. It was extremely dry... and overcooked chewy and crumbles out of the breading, fries were obviously the same frozen ones I could buy at the grocerystore. Strawberry lemonade was just lemonade with strawberry syrup. For $20 a person this is just terrible food. But the serviceis nice, speedy, and attentive. Read more
THE SINGLE BEST CLAM CHOWDER I HAVE EVER HAD. The help is awesomene.. and everything from the poppers to the captains... platter, and my wife's seafood fettuccine just perfect. If you're in Newport, this is the place to eat. Read more
Late Sat lunch, after most have left, so no service or wait issues, 3.8 stars. Exceeded our lowish review-based expectations. ... Went here on a whim on the Monday after 4th of July. Just three adults. There was one overworked waitress working a dozen full... tables. I saw a second waitress maybe a couple times in the two hours we were there but she didn't seem to be taking orders?Anyway, after about fifteen minutes of being seated the waitress walks by and just says "I'll be there as soon as I can." Shesounded pretty irritated but we said it's okay and kept waiting. After about half an hour she came up to the table and took ourorders. At this point I start to get cold feet because I've seen one of the kitchen staff dive into the visible freezer multipletimes and pull out everything from fries to seafood, to a corn dog with his bare hands. I start to read other reviews that arehit and miss. And after an hour of waiting, we get our food. It's absolutely disappointing. The "halibut" we paid $18.95 for 3pieces is maybe 6 ounces of halibut and they are definitely squared and from frozen. The fries taste terrible, also frozen andbarely warm. My friends $19 cold sandwich was mostly meat and real cheese with tomato and a couple strips of real bacon whichwas better than the fish at least. We asked for a second plate and it had something dirty on it and right as the waitress waswalking by my partner asked me if the hair in our fish was mine and it was and I joked about that being "the last straw" and sheasked if everything was okay and he asked if we could get another plate. She scoffs and grabs the plate and walks off mumblingabout "last straw huh?!" This was obviously a misunderstanding that she became passive aggressive about. This business appearsto operate at the bare minimum in staff and food options. The food felt like fast food seafood even though it took an hour andcosts $35 for two entrees one of which was a cold sandwich. Read more
Absolutely horrible. The worst food in Newport. Steakhouse prices with NONE of the delivery! My steak was burnt not seared on... the outside, the seasoning was burnt. The lettuce was black on the edges of my salad and the cabbage was turning. My daughter?saujus for her french dip was a puddle of grease. Most of the food was from a box. Don?t wait until it?s too late for good foodlike we did. There are other places open 24 hours with good food. Skip this at all costs. Very expensive for the very very badquality.
