Very pleased with our meals and experience! The gentleman who was our waiter was very attentive. Ordered the two oyster shooters... and a cup of clam chowder for appetizers, enjoyed both. My wife enjoyed the Beer Flight and found a new cider she really likesfrom the experience. I enjoyed my skinny margarita, although it wasn't my first choice. The cocktail I originally requested wasunavailable but not a ding against our visit. We both ordered the flat iron steak with potatoes and veggies. The steakpractically melted in our mouths, the potatoes were seasoned and delicious. Would love to come back to try the Margarita Fight! Read more
Came here with my husband and we had a wonderful time! Food was good but the service was even better! Our server Spring was so... attentive and our drinks were never empty. She made us good recommendations and put us in a great mood. The plating of the foodreminds me of home so I'm excited to come here in the future with family. Great place to stop by when at the beach and wasn'ttoo busy when we arrived as we were seated immediately. Can't wait to come back! Read more
I give this 5 stars. Service was friendly and excellent. Attentive staff, but not overbearing. Laid back environment, great... menu, delicious foods. Wow! We love this place. We have a vacation home in the area and are always looking for new places to eat. This will be a staple... for us. My wife had the Louie and I had the Fisherman's Stew. Amazing. Great service, great decor and excellent fresh food.Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the area. We finished dinner with the flourless cake and the berry cobbler.Perfect endings to a fantastic meal! Read more
We did takeaway tonight. We were short a packet of utensils, after asking when we drove up, usually have some in the car, but... switched vehicles at the last minute. Kathy and I both had the fresh catch, black cod, perfectly cooked, you could eat it with aspoon, (and in fact I did). The vegetables were also done perfectly, that can be tricky with green beans. The Spanish rice wasthe most flavorful I've ever enjoyed. But there was no lemon wedge in mine, and I expect one, or even two lemon wedges, with afresh catch plate. The calamari was way too salty and the oil was not quite hot enough so they were very oily. I tried scrapingthe breading off, but ended up throwing it away. The menu is awesome, it was a challenge deciding what to order. The place ischarming from what I saw of it, the pricing seemed fair, and takeaway is more challenging than in room dining, because youcan't take something back and fix it. However, takeway appears like it will be a big part of restaurant business in the future. Read more
Fabulous place, highly recommended. My husband said our meal here was “killer”. We had local black cod that was cooked in... wine with butter and herbs - melt in your mouth delicious! The server, who was super helpful and responsive, recommended gettingthe cod with mashed potatoes because they are so good. She was right! I make delicious mashed potatoes myself but I’ve neverhad them taste so buttery and creamy, better than mine! Accompanied by fresh roasted veggies and a glass of wine, nothingbetter! We went twice in one day on our way through Newport. Clean, quick service, friendly knowledgeable staff, and great prices. Tuna... was my favorite along with the cheesecake for dessert. Thanks again. Courtney was a pleasure to deal with thank you for the goodservice. We will be back. Read more
Wonderful late dinner. We had the steamer clams, Pacific Pasta, and the Catch of the Day. All were absolutely delicious! The... fish was so tender and the pasta was a little sweet and lightly spicy. Our waitress was attentive and very kind. Overall a greatexperience and would definitely eat here again. Read more
