Absolutely WORST place to order delivery! They cancelled my order upon putting it in, took $60 plus out of my accnt. I called... the location, and they tell me the managers not in, I said I want my money back this is crazy, she said she'd have the managercall me......I'm STILL waiting on that call! Called them a lil after 9am to ask if they are participating in the free 6" sub giveaway and she told me yes,12-2pm and I... replied the news is saying 10am and she said 12-2pm. I go in at 12pm to be told it was over,it started at 10am. I told them Icalled in that morning and she said I know, it was a mistake what you were told. The other lady told you wrong. My car broke down and it was about 20 degrees outside. The two friendly young ladies who work there invited us in while we... waited for our tow truck. Went to Newport Pa subway today. I ordered oven roasted chicken sub for my daughter. They have young kids working there who... clearly cannot pay attention to what they are doing. I leave and get home to find out that they didnt even put the chicken intomy sub. The meat was still in the microwave. This is poor service and i will NEVER return to this subway again. I was somewhat surprised by the negative reviews. I have been here about half of dozen times and no complaints at all. I have... worked in quality control for two of America's biggest food production companies for about 5 years. I have been a chef andtrained servers for an upscale casual dining chain. I worked as a clerk for the number one service station in Georgia, highestin sales and customer satisfaction. Our sales at my retail store grew an average of 20% every quarter. So my expectations areabout impossible to meet. I have served multiple Fortune 500 clients. This store is sparkling clean. The service is alwaysfriendly and engages with the customer. If long wait times bother you, try online ordering. I have done that and it's alwaysready to go. The food quality is always consistent. If I get bad service or food three times, then their out. But, I have yet toeven find one little thing to scrutinize about this store. I hope those of you that decided to give one stars at least talked tothe owner, because if there is one thing that drives me bonkers in my industry is when someone floods me with complaints anddoes not give me a chance to fix it, and then goes publicly about their complaint, but never even mentions if they gave theowner a chance to fix it. Working quality control at a very high volume bakery. I had to feed 1.2 to 2.1 million people a shift.So yes, mistakes will be made. But getting feedback was crucial to improving my department. I encourage you to do the same.Contact the owner, let him know how you felt about your visit, give the owner a chance to fix, and revise your review if theymade things right. As clean, organized, and well stocked this store is, I highly doubt the owner doesn't care. I can tell withinthe first 5 minutes of visiting anywhere, where problems are and if the owner or general manager does care. This store just doesnot meet that criteria.
