Delicious! I loved coming here for a quiet lunch. The waitress was so kind and attentive but not overbearing. The food was... delicious and well priced. One of the best sangria's of my life. Not your average Mexican restaurant! Small in size but big on flavor each reasonably priced plate is a unique taste experience.... Friendly and fun atmosphere too. Try it to see if you like it as much as we did. Read more
Great food. Amazing friendly staff. Emily was my server. She was very tentative, and helpful in suggesting the best foods base... on your stage bud and needs. I had a great time while visiting the beautiful town of Newport. If ever back in town, this will bea stop for me. Great outdoor patio, and the prices were well priced. The best Mexican food I've ever had. Honest. Great, friendly service; sidewalk seating in view of the old RI State House (1790s)... on Washington Sq. We had chips and queso as an appetizer; then gorged ourselves on a medley of street tacos that were absolutelyscrumptious. Like, finger-licking scrumptious. Can't wait to return!! Read more
My husband and I stopped in for lunch while out adventuring. Their house salsa is delicious. I had a beer, we split the ceviche,... and had three tacos apiece, all of which were really good. The place has cool wall art, and we left happy and full. Wouldabsolutely come back. Read more
2 months ago i gave here 5 stars. Had to give it only 4 stars this go. The old chicken taco was my favorite on the menu. Was... not a fan of the new chicken taco. Also, i preferred the blue corn tortilla. Please bring back the original chicken taco. Read more
We had such an AMAZING time! Chef Mariana doesn't stop. Between the amazing food that she creates, as well as running the food,... clearing plates, and talking to guests. Tacos and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Definitely get the jicama salad as astarter, cool, crunchy, and refreshing! And you cannot go wrong with the chocolate torte for dessert... Stopped by La Vecina for a cocktail before going on a Ghost Tour. Very little tequila selections were available for a Mexican... restaurant and bar. The menu displayed many selections, but the didn't have any Repsado, but Patron Silver was a perfectalternative. House margaritas were made to order and tasty. Our bartender was quick and funny.
