My favorite sushi place in Newport! Tons of roll options, beautiful presentation, and lovely space inside the restaurant. Call... ahead takes between 20-40 when they?re busy, but they?re great about separating warm from cold items in your bags, which isimportant! Read more

I order a couple sweet potato rolls for dinner. The staff was very nice and my takeout order only took a couple minutes from the... time I placed it. The restaurant was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. It was my first time to the restaurant, I willcertainly be back. Read more

Having moved from San Francisco where we enjoyed sushi at Morimoto's (Napa) and Pabu (SF), we have been searching for something... comparable...and now we found it! The perfect rice, fish at exactly the right freshness level and temperature, and miso soupthat you know is made in house and not from a mix! The service was excellent and friendly. We have tried many places in RhodeIsland and have always been surprised at how mediocre they are, considering we live on the water. This is THE place. Just wishwe'd found it earlier! Read more

Visited one evening for dinner while in town for a few days and was not disappointed! I made a reservation prior to showing up... and the staff was attentive despite having to wait a while at the front to be seated-not because they were full but because noone came, although there were lots of staff about. Despite being pregnant and unable to enjoy my favorite sushi, I'm stillthinking about the vegetable udon noodles I had here. The noodle texture was perfection and the veggies were crispy just the wayI prefer! My husband ordered sushi & was impressed by how fresh it tasted. I'd say the prices were comparable to NYC sushirestaurants which was unexpected for a RI restaurant. We also ordered the veggie fried rice to try- which was just ok and a bitbland. The spicy yakitori app was pretty tasty but only 2 skewers for $9+ isn't the best deal. Not sure if I'd visit again butdefinitely somewhere I'd recommend trying. Read more

Visiting from Boston and was pleasantly surprised by this local sushi place!! All kinds of fish we ordered was so fresh that you... could actually taste each fish?s unique flavor. Highly recommend the uni nigiri too! Sashimi pieces could be a little bit bigger(thicker) but really that?s it. I would actually make a trip here for this quality fishes from Boston (and there?s no place withthis freshness in boston imo) Read more

What a gem of a place. Food was brought out fairly quickly. Everything tasted just great. We had a party if four and everyone... enjoyed. And we?ve been to many many sushi places. Our server was also great. Very attentive to detail. Many may not carebut water tasted great (many restaurants use tap water). Read more
